As most of you know, I love playing nerf in the dark. My freinds and I do a lot of indoor night wars, and we usually go room to room. I have created a "Flash Gun" and "Flash Stick," that would have the affect of a fkash bang grenade, just without the bang. Both of these will blind a person for several seconds, alowing you to shoot or capture them.
The Flash Gun:
The Flash Gun is a Night Finder with everything but the triger and batery case gone. I then put the electronics from a fire fly, the flash bulb, switch, wires, etc. inside the NF. After soldering the wires into place, and puting the LED used in the laser, in place of the "On" light, I got this:
The on off switch:
The "On" light:
The Flash Bulb:
The Flash Stick:
The Flash Stick is a pump from a broken hornet, with the electronics from a disposible camera, and wires going to the bottom of the stick. The ruber bands hold the battery when I'm not using it. The front has a button that you push to charge the flash, and the back has a light to let you know when you can fire. To fire you cross the wires.
The Stick:
The back of the stick:
The wires:

Here is my Big Bad Bow mod:
After removing the rod that pushes the missile, I stuck a crayola barrel down the launching tube. Then I put some PVC over the crayola that stuck out, giving it better accuracy. I then cut of the Bow frame at the front, and attached a PVC stock to the back.

My As-v.1 Titan

Here is my Titan mod:
The barrel is from the longshot front gun, wrapped in foam, then stuck in a large round plastic part. I cut out the hornet hand grip, and replaced it with a grip from the DTB. This is supposed to look like an ammo clip. My goal was to turn it into a SPR.

Rifle Maverick

I have been working on this mod for a while now, and think that I have a pretty good design figured out:
The Gun
The Barrel:
The barrel is external, and aimed slightly upward to give the gun more range and accuracy. I used a cheap plastic telescope I had in my room to create the barrel, and it fit rather tightly over the maverick's little snub at the front.
The Stock:
The stock at the back is kind of primitive, but it was the first one I ever made. I used the end of that telescope I was talking about above, to fit over the little stub at the back of the maverick. This makes the PVC fit nice and strait. Everything is held together by hot glue.
The "Scope"
The "Scope" is not a scope at all. I used the scope of the long shot and cut off both ends. After that, I put a lens from my mag-lite over the front, and drew cross-hairs.
The Mav:
The maverick itself has the basic AR removal, but the pins are still in place. I have found Streamlines to be the best stock darts to use in my nerf guns.
All in all, I love my maverick. I believe it to be my most valuable close rang weapon.

Administrators

I know I am new, but I was wondering what it takes to become an administrator for the Haven. Do I have to be invited? Do I need to wait for a few years? If someone could answer my questions, I would really aprecieate it.
