CDZinc Is a great site to find most every song created. You could use that to look thru peoples suggestions, if you don't already have a site similair to it.
I'll list some songs with a good intro (so you could show some people doing stuff)and that would fit pretty well.

Box Car Racer - Tiny Voices
Those are just my opinions. I do like the idea for the Halo soundtrack but I'm not sure if any of the songs have enough of a steady beat/rhythm to work. I hope this turns out good.
