You should be able to find all the parts at local hardware stores, mabey somewhere that specializes in irrigation equipment( I have a place like that close to my house). Mcmaster is a bit pricy. I don't recommend using a sprinkler valve in a nerf gun, it could provide enough power to seriously injure someone but it is excellent for use in air cannons. Modification of these takes five minutes.

Plexyglass, (slap self on head), Sorry. I mean that super tough see through plastic.I think it is called poly something. Any way I am going to go to a factory and buy some off cuts sometime this week. I will get back to you guys.

Sorry, I was thinking of something more like the bbmg. How easy is plexyglass to work with? Can you machiene it easily? I would like to get some, in fact there is a place where I can get scrap peices cheap. I just think it would make a good stock or housing once it is pollished.

Wow, that was nice. I wouldn't want to advertise and get banned from a forum I waited a week to join. So then, the forum needs something original to get more people to join. I will have to think about it for a while.

WOW, what a lucky find I have made. B)

I actually tried to make this design as well but it never worked and was scrapped for parts.The problem was the piston. Now I have more experience with pistons and have a very powerfull small metal one. If you want to answer some of the questions you are thinking then I suggest you take a looky at my piston topic, you will learn quite a few things.
