OK so, I was just fideling with my maverick and broke the turret thing. The next morning I just hacked off the top and bottom uhh... Strut things that held the front of the gun which, in tern, held the turret. Then I cut off the from of the inverted air tank thing and put in a crayola marker for a barrel (also I sanded the crap out of it so it would fit). I was careful not to glue it too much but enough so it was functional. I did a quick range test flat and got this-
Flat-
1). 61'
2). 73'
3). 65'
I forgot to do angled. I'll have pics up at some point.

Once again, bordom has struck and left me with something briliant! Here's my Titan (if I can still call it that)-

Here's a close up on the air tank...

And it's hard to see but here's the trigger pin thing conected to the trigger-

This thing kept braking on me... But luckily I found some nylon and put it on the handle + some 1500 lb. epoxy (it can hold that much it's not that heavy) and PRESTO! You have the strongest thing next to making it out of metal and welding it!

High Powered Pistol(s)

Well, any ideas for some high powered pistols? I'm already in love with the sspb for it's size and power when modded corectly. Now, I was wondering if it was possible to get 100'+ with a pistol
.
Air/pump powered seems to be easier to make then spring.

Definatly Something...

Well, At first I just wanted to make a homemade. I've never really liked anything that has been built before with a spring and plunger so, I made one with a small bike pump and tire valve. This gun I just tried to make functional then umm... Pretty... Anyways...
Here's the full gun-

Here's the breech-

Here's the valve that's also the trigger that acually works very well-

Here's a pic of you facing down the barrel-

Here's me holding it by the handle, ya, that's the handle-

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooook then, there you go...
Range- flat+20pumps= around 115'. Angled+20pumps= around 145' ish-.
Acurate- Up to 130' (you can pump it more than 20 times)
Efective- It doesn't seem to loose any significant power until about 110' so... I guess 110'.
I mostly use 20pumps, but it can range from 14pumps-100pumps. At 100pumps, the dart get's ripped to shreads!

Psi. Question
08 July 2006 - 09:49 PM
How much psi. would it/ does it take to get a dart out a barrel and propel it around... 100'? And would an air tank that's a bit smaller then a foot and 1" PVC acually have enough air to do this? I mean I look at the titan and the airtech 2k and that has even smaller air tanks... Oh ya the barrel is about... 2' ish.
Thanx
