I was out lookin for some new guns today and picked up this odd (in my own words) friction powered gun. I got it home and slapped some batteries in it. (it takes 3 AA) It fires in kind of the same way a hot wheels car is propelled by 2 spinning wheels. It's semi auto, holds 20 darts, hits 20' right out of the box. So I poped it open, and the first thing I could think of was to slap rubberbands on the wheels for more friction. I couldn't really think of anything more to do atm so I just closed it up. I loaded it up and took some test shots 31', 26', 30', 29'.
The range may not be the best but the ROF is awesome.

I went out today looking for some new guns and found some stuff. I picked up a Blast Bazooka and a few other guns. When I loaded the bazooka and started pumping I heard air pushing out of the barrel after 6 pumps. When I pulled the trigger, the air just hissed out of the barrel for about 4 seconds and the rocket just flopped out and fell to the ground. >.> Im sure it's busted I just wanna make sure.

Hey, I have been modifying my LS front gun, and I need help with something. I added a new spring (a DTG spring), and had to strip away the pieces of plastic that housed the old spring for it to fit, but the catch isn't strong enough to hold back the plunger. I stretched the spring that holds up the catch, but it's just not strong enough. I was wondering if someone could give me some tips on how one could reinforce the catch. Any help would be nice.

Ok well prity much just read the title. Ive been looking everywhere for some good older nerf guns. I have been to nearly 5 stores this past week, and the only things i can find are the new dart tag sets, mavs, and a few night finders. If anyone knows of a place that has alot in stock, or an official nerf website i can find all of the guns on, please tell me, and dont just tell me the official nerf website because i checked and again all i found there are the newer guns. I live in California, Orange County.

hey im kindof a noob with homemades so here a break down of my first project. ive only been working on it on and off for like a month now so dont bash it. and sorry about having to make the pics links i just repartitioned my drives and forgot to save my photoshop installer. there huge if you enlarge it so id leave it as is when you klick on the links.

BARREL:

A shot of my barrel with one of my first homemade darts it gets over 30 feet if i use it like a blow dart. if i use a better dard it should get way better distance(just by blowing it out of the barrel). i dont think you want a video of me blowing a copper pipe so just take my word for it XD

Watch the dart, Ive layered the barrel. (loose in the front, snug in the back)
A: Because i wanted it to fit into the cool looking pvc.
B: So my homemade stefans slide to the back and fit snug.
C: So store bought stefans would fit snug in the front of the barrel. (dont have a pic with a store bought stefan in it but it works)

PLUNGER:
I have completely redone the plunger. It is now a small (very light weight) piece of copper with a spring over it and 2 O rings. I'll post a pic later.

Because my dad keeps forgetting to take me out and get the flux for my solder i still havnt put this part together. The nail will be the pin that holds the plunger in place after its charger, the pvc at the top is the case, the copper and springs and nail at the bottom are the insides.

Comments please. And ill say it again. Dont bash me im still noob at this. I'll give mesurements after someone asks im kinda lazy like that
