In Topic: Where To Buy Modding Materials

If you're using a sprinkler valve as your firing mechanism, an easy way to avoid having to modify them (such as this gentleman did here: http://www.instructa...ic-loser-Rifle/ ) is to use two A23 batteries...they are about the size of AAs but are 12v each, which makes them easier to add on to the body of your 'blaster' and easier to wire up than a series of 3 '9v's...you can find them at your local CVS, Target and BJ's.

thanks taerKitty

You could make one out of pvc, and add a replica of the weird barrel-lock design for the buzz bee double shot and use a secret shot internals. With some good use of styrofoam, wood and some leather scraps (as well as amazon painting skills) this could be possible....

I might buy it just for the clip. If I'm right, the mags look compatible with the Longshot, so I'll probably use the new clip to get the maximum ammo with the power and familiarity of a Ls. Also, that thing does look like it'll snap in half. Perhaps a minimazation mod woud be useful...hm......or maybe weight the side opposite the clip to make it more stable....hmm...

If you're getting 40' ranges out of a LS, then I have no idea what you did to it. Whatever it was, I wouldn't be bitching to people about their supposed 100' ranges, because it looks like you don't know jack about modifying LSes. If you're getting 40' ranges with a LS then you need to stop ripping on people and actually go do something better to your LS. Yeah, maybe he didn't get 100' ranges, but I'd bet my soul he got more than 40'.

If you had read the post you would've understood those crappy ranges: it's incredibly leaky! I dropped at a friends house and it consequently fell down 2 flights of stairs and it cracked the plunger tube thingy :P Yeah, it's a fail but i've started a new project on a Ls and it should prove to turn out better.
