We are leaving Monroeville, PA on Saturday, so it just depends on what happens. I might not be able to attend. I went to Google Maps for some research, and I found out that it takes about 10 hours and 6 minutes to get from A to B. So, if we leave early in the morning like normal, at like 4:00, I will be able to get there at about 2:00 and Nerf while my parents sleep or do something else. I might be able to leave even earlier than 4:00; I'll just have to see. It's on the way home, and it would take about 2 more hours to get home, so we would get home about 8:00. I still haven't cleared this with my parents yet, but it's not too far off the normal plan. They will enjoy the rest. I will probably remain on the "maybe" list until late October, as I just do not know what will happen.

Make sure you have a reliable sidearm, I can't stress how many times my NF saved me during summer SENO. Oh, and you probably won't need to cool the darts, it'll be pretty cool around Thanksgiving anyways. Hope to see you at SENO!

Yeah, I modded a NF for my first gun. And I totally fucking forgot about it being cold. Sorry about that. But with the heat these days, you never really know....
Oh, and I'll have enough darts. I made like 90 when I was first getting into it, and I haven't lost very many.

Okay, it turns out that I will be in Penn state to visit the grandparents for Thanksgiving. This doesn't mean a no; actually, I have an greater chance of attending than before. The same thing goes: family has fun in Atlanta while we nerf it up. I'm in 8th grade and I get three days off for Thanskgiving (Wed., Thur., and Fri.) , so if we 1) leave on Friday and stay in a hotel, or 2) leave early on Saturday (like normal) and get there a little late, I should be fine. They hopefully won't mind.

A couple questions: how many darts should I bring, is a modded BBB able to compete with BBBBs or should I invest in something a bit more powerful, and do I need to cool the darts so they won't swell up. Thanks for the support, and I hope I can make it!

Hello, I'm new to NerfHaven. Well, mostly new anyway. I know the rules around here, and have some guns of my own as well as darts. I'm interested in coming to this war. I live in Jacksonville, AL near the border of Georgia, so it would be around a four-hour drive, which isn't too bad considering how far people are willing to go to the huge wars like Apoc. I have not cleared it with my parents yet (I have brought up the idea), but I don't think they would reject the idea automaticly; if I'm correct Augusta isn't too far from Atlanta, where they (or at least one) can shop to their heart's desire. So put me on your "maybe" list; I know this isn't yet an official thread, but it's pretty much a discussion of who can make it and who can't.

P.S. I'm not a prep; I just wanna make a good first impression.
