do not use bike valves, their rubber and make a poor seal
go to a hardware store and pick up a tank valvfe, its still the fitting for an air compressor for filling tires, but it screws in andd makes a perfect seal.

an air compressor it looks like, mabye even a bike pump. its fitted with a schrader valve

Hi, I was thinking of scratching my pump shotgun idea becasue I cannot retain the overall look of a shotgun becasue the barrell has to be so short to be an effective gun. But to save my shotgun I was thinking of sleeving my short pvc barrell with some much longer ( around 3 foot) copper tubing. this copper shouldnt effect the firing in theory, but I wanted everyone elses opinion on this as I am newer to this than most of you.

Um, i just tested my xp spring iand i got it to compress to 3". Is it possibl i have a different spring from you? I orderedit from the websight you provided, and the spring starts off at 13"
