For people like me, who don't know how to brass a barrel, don't have power tools, don't have a hardware store nearby....

Its SUPER simple. All you need is A4s, 1 elite dart, electrical tape, and any mega blaster

1. Cut 2 A4s in half. The hotdog way.
2. Roll 3 of those 4 halves tightly. The 4th one, you can throw away or use to make another.
3. Stick an elite in there. Adjust the tightening as required.
4. Tape it so it doesn't come apart. Go all the way around, all the way down.
5. Roll 1 end a bunch of times with tape. Just enough to be able to stuff the tube into the blaster.
6. Cut about 5 1 inch strips, then cut them the long way.
7. Use those strips to seal one end of the tube (the same one from #5). You shouldn't be able to see paper from that end. The sealed end is the part that goes into the blaster.

Voila basic converter. You may need to make multiple because they are kinda hard do master at first. But it's basically free, so you can't complain XD

PS. This is only the basics.
For things like the cyclone shock, make 6 of them and cut em. Or measure the needed length and cut them.

Mega magnus, you either have to cut the tube, or remove the thing that prevents your dart from falling out while priming.

Will work on big shock and probably the hot shock. Don't have any other megas to test.

This will NOT let you use mags. Single shot only.

I DID search for crossbow. Just a disclaimer. I found one similar, (kinda) the 'has anyone made a crossbow with working arms' thread.

So. The basically has anyone made a blaster that requires you to put one of the ends down on the ground and use your entire body to prime?

The only reason for this is because at high draw weights, it gets hard to prime with your arms alone. You could put like 130lbs of spring power and prime it relatively easily. Compare THAT to a more 'normal' blaster.

Of course with that much power most/all of the parts have to be metal. And the barrel has to be pretty dang long for efficiency. Also maybe custom darts like stefans which can handle the acceleration.

It doesn't have to look like a crossbow, just the priming basics have to be similar to a crossbow.

PS. I know it's not war practical. It might not even be legal in some states or counties. But it's a cool idea

I haven't found a post regarding stock spring that can work together, I have searched but I didn't find any so excuse me if there is such a post.

(Also note, most of these will work without some of the springs because I will be posting the max power
versions)

1. The triad.
Works with Jolt+Retaliator+(Fire strike if you sand the inside of the plunger head a bit).
After a while, it will jam. Remove either the Jolt or the Retaliator spring.

2. Strong arm
Original spring+ triad spring. I'm not entirely sure if you need to remove the X thing on the head, I did this a while ago so I don't remember. Pretty loud and not entirely recommended.

3. Mega Magnus
Original spring+Jolt+strong arm
Very powerful. I don't have a chronograph so I'm guessing about 2X the power? Sometimes you have to tug pretty hard to prime properly. If this is too annoying,remove the Jolt spring

4. Cyclone shock
Not much so far...
Original+retaliator

No doubt about it, the stock centurion sucks. its big, unwieldy. has a lot of dead space. has this weird reverse plunger system... thing. its accuracy is through the floor and is on its way to hell. its the only mega with a clip so no spare mags, no capacity upgrades unless you MAKE mega clips (in which case plz send one my way XD).

 

 

the only good side is apparently is that its big, so intergrations and internal work is easy. or so im told. the shell does look kinda cool but whats inside is what counts.

 

anyone have a good modded centurion? or a link to one? or know someone who knows someone who knows someone who does? the centurion looks like it should give the person who got hit a good bruise. imagine what a NORMAL plunger that BIG with something like 1264823726348 [k26] springs behind it. it might be the first nerf gun to reach relative velocities XD. cant someone 3d print something like that? PLZ IF YOU HAVE ONE PLEASE SHOW IT OFF TO THE WORLD. NOBODY WILL COMPLAIN ABOUT YOU SHOWING OFF.

do any of you have guns with beefed up springs? of course you do. thats why you are here on this site, on this forum. but do any of your guns scare you? like 'dayum if this plastic gives, somebody might get hurt.'. If you have any id like to know what gun, spring/ airtank you are using

 

personally what scares me is my triad. that might sound silly but wait for it... there are THREE decently powerful springs in there. a jolt spring, a retaliator and a firestrike. it is actually harder to prime than my strongarm or my magnus. I DONT HAVE ANY EPOXY OR ANY KIND OF SUPPORT. if the screws come loose, then im screwed XD pun intended.

 

if any of you are curious about how i fit the springs in there, its really easy. grind the inside of the plunger head with sand paper till the firestrike spring can fit and squish easily. then add the jolt and the retaliator and assemble. BAM you have a hand cannon.

 

which guns scare you the most? personally i think a crazy guy on youtube called joergsprave has all the air tank posts beat. his airzooka can hold so much air, the moisture inside the air condenses into a cloud as it is released. i know its not a nerf gun, but dayum that thing can shoot.
