I'm pretty much stunned by the audacity and overkill of this ball blaster, TheAbused. It is truly inspirational to the indoor nerfing crowd as it demonstrates just how far away from the Crossbow you can go.

Doesn't having the barrel move make it difficult to aim?

2. No. I wish people would quit asking the same question repeatedly.

Sorry to annoy. I recall that you dismissed an option because without the auto-advance it would be too hard to line up the chambers and sealing the chambers to the piston and barrel was a pain. I didn't realize that was the Sledgehammer concept.
It's never too late to be arbitrary. If you start calling it a cylinder, others will follow.

I find the image of seven potentially loaded barrels pointing at my face quite intimidating, even if the resulting weapon is totally impractical. The potential of the pop point rail system is laudable.

Captain Slug, how is the turret coming? I find it quite an impressive and interesting concept. You noted previously that the turret had a higher rate of fire, but was heavier than your breech barrel. If you used shorter barrels on the turret, say 6 inches, it could provide higher rates of fire for close combat situations while reducing mass.
You had a concept design some time ago called the Sledgehammer that used a drum magazine. Could an attachment be designed for the +bow that imitates that but without the auto-advance feature? It could provide a high-capacity, easy-reload alternative to the turret.
On a final note, the term 'turret' is being kind of misused when referring to the construct in question. It's really more of a revolver magazine.
