Finally got around to finishing this one, as with my previous modification, this one was going to be a clean and crisp paintjob until something went wrong
What started as a clean and crisp blaster paint job quickly became a dirty and grimy blaster when the paint started to react and to put it politely "look sh!t". I did my best to recover the paint job and I'm actually pretty happy with how it turned out.
And when you turn off the lights, the glow-in-the-dark paint shines!
I'm new to the idea of modificating nerf (and nerf in general), my skills with a screw driver etc are pitiful so I'm having a go painting. Below are my first two attempts at painting some blasters.
Relativly simple paintjobs but I'm really happy with the results. (My nephew thinks they are amazing so thats good enough for me) I'm now moving on to something a little more involved regarding the painting of my new rapidstrike blaster, more colours and "maybe" custom decals. Influenced by some of the excellent paintjobs I've seen on this thread.
