Will it be the long, flowing gown type with the feathered wings?

or you could go crazy with the mod and install a second flywheel set running higher voltage in the fore section of the blaster.
i'm sure that with a replica shell of a halo battle rifle, there's plenty of room for more motors. if not, the voltage upgrade will make up for the extra barrel length regardless of what motor setup you're using. just hack it, glue in your plastic structures and plates, smooth the shape, give it a little detail and then paint it.
best of luck to the project. i await the fruits of your ambition.

Is the Rayven too short, or is the Battle Rifle? If the Rayven is too short, I would suggest modifying one of Hasbro's existent barrel extensions. I'm assuming that you don't care that much about ranges, because you are trying to make a nerf gun look like it came from a video game. You could also use some polycarbonate to make a more custom extension to the front of the gun, but I'm not sure if you have the tools and/or materials to do so.
Regardless, good luck with whatever you end up doing.

Picture of my brass barreled longshot, no brass breech for this one due to lack of rigidity in brass for that application (14kg spring from blacktactical+OMW longshot upgrade spring. It has a reinforced composite bolt sled (xpower boltsled with aluminum reinforcement plates), an xpower bolt handle set, metal rail fitted, metal trigger, double catch springs, extended outer barrel, a paintjob (hyundai pearl mica black and Kyrlon pumpkin orange), all locks removed, airseal work done on the bolt, matching sling, and a red dot sight (scopes on nerf blasters are kinda pointless vs open-frame RDS sights.)
