This is the problem with 3D printing, everybody thinks you can print out whatever you want willy nilly and have it last forever.

Like Roboman said, this is used for rapid prototyping.

Yes. You can print anything that will fit within the bed of said printer.

Will this breech hold up to any kind of stress, especially the kind we NiC gents like to put on longshot's? No.

If you want a suitable replacement Longshot breech, I would suggest an OMW kit or hope Ice starts selling them.

I do agree completely with what you said It is just for rapid prototyping or for fun. I was reading ice's recasting molding thread and I found it super interesting so I am going to try molding parts, because I was really wanting to make custom parts I or others needed then molding may just be better than 3D printing.

Yes, there's a simple fix, unfortunately I have no interest in the Sledgefire haha. I understand there is a great deal of demand for them, many people steal them from stores unfortunately haha.

My fix...gently SMASH BRASS IN IT!

How much would you charge for custom parts? Would it be cheaper than shapeways? I've been thinking about getting some flywheels 3D printed.

If you have a design file then it would be fairly cheap as I said I am not trying to make money. But I sometimes use my friends printer which is a Zcorp Z650 and is very expensive and much nicer than mine if you want it to be stronger, so he has to charge me when I use it.

Also, an item that I would strongly recommend you start making is the Nerf ZombieStrike Sledgefire shell. Once you have a functioning design, make a post in /R/Nerf. You wont be able to print them fast enough.

Thank you very much for the suggestion I will definitely try that. Also I did not realized I am member must have just happened today...wow I feel stupid!

Unless he hacked my home computer, (in which case I will be shortly suing him) he has the old file which will certainly break. Due to apathy I had yet to upload the new version, and I am glad I didn't. I set up the "unofficial" terms for the download so that someone like our friend "NerfOverload" here couldn't sell a CHEAP KNOCKOFF of one of my designs. This is otherwise known as a Noncommercial license

As for the Sledgefire shells, it's the internet, guess what already exists?:

(This design is also covered under a noncommercial license.)

I am very sorry if I offended you, I was going to buy your wye but if you are unaware you are out of stock. P.S I am not a hacker
