Also, I would stick to stock ammo if at all possible per your budget. This discourages anything more powerful than you should have at a school club. Like, for instance, all of the modded AT3Ks that I've seen.
Most people at my school us Modded guns and I have modded many of their guns.
i made a couple of slugs using 3/8 inch felt tips to see if they hurt less. it hurt still but it didnt hurt as bad as hot glue domes so i will try that to see if they hurt people during a war.

You can try: eraser heads foam or even buy actual tips from informer/velocitytag (google). I haven't been able to get a hold of any of these but I was able to buy some foam knee pad thingies at the dollar store and will be testing the soon.
I might try the informer darts but I am wandering if it come with the tips or just the foam
