Dude. This is the coolest blaster I've ever seen. I will give you money, no strings attached, just to see you get those new screens and toys fitted on.
Does it feel like it's being obstructed by something? Can you manually move it?
Yeap. Moves just fine and nothing is obstructing it. I can shift it through its full range of motion with no effort. However, when I pull the trigger when the gun is both disassembled and put together, the catch release system won't kick in so I get through the firing cycle with no air released from the plunger whatsoever.
