Ive been working on modding the Scout. Once I removed the air restrictors, this thing is getting in the 40-50 foot range, firing stefans (Note: I have yet to actually measure that range, but its a pretty good estimate).
I wanted to do more to it, so I took one of the main springs from a DoubleShot I have dismantled and put itinto the Scout. This was very effective, and added a ton of power to the gun. However, I could only get the gun to successfully cock once out of maybe every five tries.
I now have to go through a complex series of motions to get the damn gun to stay cocked. If I could only do that, it would be a formidable side-arm. As of now, however, its completely impractical to actually use when nerfing.
Anyone run into a similar situation or know how to deal with this problem?
