I got another interesting little find for you. This one piqued my curiousity.
Here's the guy who brought you the Atom Blaster. Yeah, I know that sucks, but in the design process he came up with some concepts and prototypes for stomp-mines.
His blog also gives you an insight into how they come up with some things, with sketches beyond both the gun and the mine. Those mine prototypes certainly give me grenade ideas.

Thought some people might like to know about this.
Riot Story
I doubt this will affect us much if at all. But it is still disconcerting.

Sm3k Turreting Assembly

Hey, yeah... this gun is frustrating.
I took it apart weeks ago, figuring I would be able to put it back together. Wrong.
I have no idea how to put together the front part of the gun anymore, all those doodads, springs, and screws in the front for all the ratcheting mechanism. Anyone know of a good few pics of this area, and/or a description of it's components? I may just give some pics of my 'extra' parts to get the right advice.

New, Broken Secret Strike
16 November 2008 - 12:37 AM
Just as the topic says. Bought a secret strike, it doesn't work. As I pump it starts to push the dart out, and it does not fire at all. Should I return it, involving shipping, or just repair the thing and upgrade it in the process?
Anybody else buy new in the package secret strikes with the same issue? Got mine from eBay.

Integration In The Works: Nitefinder/doubleshot
10 November 2008 - 05:45 AM
So, it's late, and I'm up screwing around with my doubleshot. The gun kinda sucks, and always has in the power department. After looking around, I don't see much in the way of power mods, so I'm cookin' up a'somethin.
I've got a nitefinder piston and cylinder working with the trigger, theoretically. After much dremel sanding and cutting with razors - carefully - everything fits excellently:
I need a trip to the hardware store to finish the triggering mechanism, using the trigger parts from both the nf and the ds:
I think I got it all except delivering the air to the chambers, right here:
What kind of hoses and glue should I be looking at for this? I assume I need a little tubing and a y connection. I was hoping that maybe a switch might be possible to install for a left barrel, right, or both.
I was also toying with the idea of integrating the pulley mechanism and another nitefinder in the stock of the gun. I know i could easily get another nitefinder barrel in the stock with a little creative cutting but cocking and triggering would probably be a bit harder to pull off.
Thoughts, especially on pnuematic supplies?
