Have you thought of putting a clipped pistol onto that?
Think of a modded ClipTek (internals out into the arr) and firing those. That would be incredible!

That area will be too small for anything except a handhold anyways.
Tomorrow I will mostly be working on getting templates made. I have a home theater project that might be acting as a distraction for a few days in the next week or so.

Why would I want to attach an ugly gun to such a nice looking one? If I want a secondary it will be a Nitefinder clipped to my belt. Or I'll make one from scratch.
Well, I was thinking having two clipped guns in one would be pretty cool. I thought you could do a "grenade-launcher" (flip gun upside down and attach the cocker directly to the plunger) and/or a "no-shell" mod to it and use it as a secondary integrated into the arr.
Hehe arr...

I was sick yesterday and didn't accomplish anything. Most of tonight will be spent getting the template sheets and cut lists typed so I can do the bulk of the machining tomorrow.

I've been reading through this thread and I can't quite understand the way the breech works, could you explain this a bit more? I'm sure it will be a "duh" moment but any explanation would be great.

The gun is based around a dual-acting air-cylinder which has one port that extends and one that retracts. I'm only using the port that retracts the cylinder when pressurized. This allows me to have a shorter stroke length than the cylinder was designed for (3-1/2" instead of 5").
1. When depressurized an extension spring pulls the ramrod from the barrel.
2. When pressurized the air-cylinder pull the ramrod into the barrel. The action loads the next dart and seals the back of the barrel.
3. The trigger valve is linked to the barrel through tubing that leads to a sleeve that jackets the end of the barrel. The barrel has two portholes in it inside the jacket that line up with the holes in the ramrod. This allows the valve to fire the dart without having to channel air through the ramrod.
The inline tank is obviously linked to the air-cylinder to increase the effective firing volume.

One of the neighbors of my workplace does professional video conferencing installations and they're moving or rearranging their office. They put a gigantic CRT projector on an adjustable cart out by the dumpster two weeks ago and me and my boss snatched it in quick order. He laid claim to the cart, I laid claim to the projector.
It's 32x28x19 inches in size, weighs 150 pounds, and outputs a picture size higher than 1080p. I'm in the process of rearranging the living room into a home theater setup. Here are some samples of the picture quality on a 9'x6' (120" diagonal) screen I installed a week ago.
And here's my favorite part: It works with 3D LCD shutter glasses.
I'm finishing work on a custom gaming computer with my leftover hardware with the intent to play racing games, flight sims, first-person shooters, and to play DVDs in full HD output quality using said glasses.

This project got sidelined a little bit by a home theater project.

What kind of speaker set up do you have? I've sold and collected home theatre equipment for a few years now and lemme tell you, surround sound is the most underrated componant of home theatres. Do you have any idea what kind of a difference you hear just going from stereo to a center channel set-up? "You mean those people were talking?"
My setup is far from high end, but it's rather nice for what I do. Currently I'm using a 60" sony sxrd (kdr60a2000)(1080p obviously), 7.1 surround with 2 front infinity beta40 floorstanding speakers, standard scientific atlantic hd dvr cable box (the explorer something or another), and I just upgraded to the onkyo txsr605 (actually not really an upgrade but it is the cheapest way to get hdmi 1.3 and decode both Dolby truehd and dts hd ma if I ever upgrade to a bluray player that outputs bitstream). Using my PS3 for all optical media at the moment. I use a pronto pro 7000 to control it all and I bought an ir adaptor for my ps3 for that very reason. I'd say if you want any suggestions on an affordable reciever/processor to let me know, but you probably build these things in your spare time. Fucking mad scientist.

No. You can't make an automatic Nerf gun that operates on a single breech that would fire any faster than a semi-automatic without it mangling the darts. Is there any way that you can make the weapon fully automatic when you need it to be?

Yeah... I tried. Except mine was a springer. You can't make an automatic Nerf gun that operates on a single breech that would fire any faster than a semi-automatic without it mangling the darts.

The actuated ram needs space to move.personally I'm confused as to why the squared area behind the clip exists at all. Is that bracing for inevitable tank attachment?

Only relevant information to report is that I have refined my paintball tank setup to what I've always wanted it to be. It can now be used with both automatics and semi-automatics. It will be the power source for this project as well. How is this thing coming along?
And I updated that thread accordingly.

I've had too many other thing to machine and work on in the past few weeks such as the finishing touches on the home theater setup, rewiring my electric scooter, making the can racks for my mother and sister-in-law that I'm a year behind in making, and refining the breech and turret options for my +bow.

I notice that you failed to mention the national huggs for whores tour that we've been planning. Would you care to explain?
