I ended up staying the whole time and I am glad I made that decision. I napped in the car for an hour and a half and showered, and only my knees are stiff right now. Round 2 anybody?
For my first large war, I loved it. Aside from having a flat tire and having to chagne that on the side of 495, things went well. Not too many people, but certainly enough. Glad to finally meet THIRST and his brother. And as for Dean, if you read this, you remind me of a friend back home in West Virginia. Speach and looks wise, you were Elliotte to me. Glad to meet you also Evil and CS and whoever else was there. I tried my best with names. Sorry if I don't mention you or anything.
The videos aren't as of what I expected them to turn out, so I aim to aquire a camcorder of somesort by next year for these kinds of things.
Can't wait for the next one.

My top 4 moments
-Evil getting the crap scared out of him when Hersh told him to look out and the little baby was next to him holding a NF.
-Evil's amazing dodge in which the dart literally missed his head by an inch
-The time 2 guys(I forget who) ran into the temporary bunker CS set up and the tarp on the bunker got tangled up in them.
-Groove teaching OMC the cobra-srike handshake thing.

¨It´s like getting a kiss, if you don´t meet half way it´s awkward. I thought.
YWNM, I hope resemblance to Elliotte is a good thing.
Great war to everyone and the day was just so good nothing was able to stand out-everything was excellent.
But I think everyone should watch their language in the future
I hope everyone had a wonderful time, I know I did. I know this was a lot of people´s first and second wars, so I hope everyone had a good impression and wants to come back.
Thank you again Steve for organizing and setting up. And Mike, thanks for helping setup the tarps as well, I know that took a long time.
Excellent to meet everyone, lots of new faces, so I won´t even bother listing them all until tomorrow when I feel intelligible.
I guess I lied, some events were more memorable than others. I hope to see everyone at Apoc´
-Dean
Also, if anyone could give me advice on how I could be more assisting to those coming to the war (whether it be during the war or before), please tell me as we are always trying to get wars running smoother and make sure everyone has an experience they feel merits long car rides, traffic, gas money, and changing flat tires.

Also, the LnL kicks ass Dean. The first thing I did when I got home was put CPVC on it and it's working really well. Thanks.

You being like my friend Elliotte is great. Just like me reminding you all of a John. Elliotte is cool.
And if you were worried about what my Dad mentioned about the language, it's really not that big. i am sure everyone says f*** mutliple times in a row when you get shot in the mouth. I know I did in Texas when playing with the Kapowwe company can caught an airsoft grenade with my tactical vest. It went off with me looking up some. My chin(s) and neck were bleeding some kind of bad that day.
Only thing I suggest would be something about headshots. With eye protection, it's not all that bad. For the guy with the kids, sprinting up with and shooting someone almost point blank in the face is a little unnessicary. I understand not being able to barrle tap on hand like that, but I think something about the face and head should be addressed. Shots to the temple can induce memory loss for a few days. Believe I know.
And one more thing, bandades. Not those crappy little Spongebob bandades that fall off on contact to sweat, but some that stick good when you happen to jam music wire in your wrist and hand getting to you NF holster. After finding a severe amount of my blood all over my holster, I deducted that that was where I kept getting cut.

My Crossbow was fixed after throwing it several times on the ground at the LCM war to chase people down, and it performed pretty well today. Got several headshots on people, a few double kills, but sadly no triple kills. My new-fangled holster shorts with strap loops worked like a dream, and the only thing that gave me a hard time were some of the darts fishtailing because they didn't fit snug enough in my main barrel.
Anywho, on to the memorable moments:
-THIRST barrel tapping several people multiple rounds
-Evil and I dodging a hail of dart fire during the pistol round, minus the Matrix music.
-Dodging what seemed like an entire cylinder from an RF20 pointed at me. Holy fuck.
-NerfMonkey shooting my "nut flap" from the hill; thankfully, my nuts are still intact.
-Exchanging several good shots against DarkShrimp throughout the entire day.
-Double hit on Evil and myself, which was actually a double elimination in Round 3. A good way to end a round, agreed?
-Getting Fireshot back in-double for the "cherry picker" shot he had on my earlier in the day.
-Actually getting to play with DarkShrimp and OMC, on the same team, for more than 1 round the whole day. That shit rarely happens.
-Teaching the amazing yet equally difficult Cobra High-Five .
-Fireshot winning the "Sneaky Bastard" award for the day. Seriously, he made you look closer before moving.
-Shooting and hitting almost everything I aimed at today. There were some fishtail shots, but I think my shot placement was pretty damn good, looking back now. Darkshrimp's shots were pretty well on, too.
And damn, it got HOT. Not like "Armageddon 2006" kind of hot, but still - pretty damn hot. I think it took its toll on everyone and thats why we quit a little early at 4:00pm. I think a majority of the people were pretty exhausted and I'm glad we ended it when we did instead of dragging it out.
Glad to meet some new faces that post on these boards, too. And a big props to CaptainSlug for hosting and providing barricades for the field. Awesome job. Also kudos to RAMBO for letting us take some of his water. I'll be seeing some of you all at the next one, some of you at Armageddon, and some of you at Apoc.

I somehow had this huge scratch up my leg almost to my butt too. I didn't see or feel it somehow. It hurts like a you know what to sit on wood seats though.
Today has been pretty awkward for me though too. I ran off a McDonalds McGriddle all day long until 7:15 when we got home. I wasn't a bit hungry at noon. And now, I'm not tired, sleepy, or anything. Ussually I feel death aproaching after Nerf when I get home. Guess that hour and a half nap in the car was enough.

That was definitely "Papa Bear," not me. I can't take credit for the plowing and destruction of said tarp barricade. However, it was pretty funny to witness.I need to find out who ran into the tarp and took out the erally fast guy and why on Earth they ran into and over the tarp that Steve worked so hard on. At first I thought he was going to get inside the tarp and then I saw Thirst maybe plow into it. Maybe it was Groove?

More highlights tomorrow when I'm not so wiped out (the back of my neck is crusty as hell and my arms look like they have dried semen on them, both of these being because of that shitty spray-on sunscreen), but these are a few of the ones I can remember now.
-Paul sneaking around and shooting me a few times when I wasn't expecting it...and raping me with his Splitfire, I think it was, near the hill that time.
-Baby Bear
-Papa Bear destroying the barrier (and having more energy than anyone else there)
-Saving Paul with my Fag Cannon III when Tim was chasing him down
-All the new people who said they would show up, actually showing up and playing. You guys rule.
-Hersh playing with Baby Bear on the monkey bars during a round
I threw a few "S words" out not realizing Baby Bear was near, sorry about that. He heard worse throughout the course of the day anyway. Fun war, everyone was cool, nice weather, good kickoff to the summer. Thanks everyone.
Oh yeah, when you get those stats done show me mine Eric.

Pictures are available for viewing here or here. The first link is a directory that you can used to view each picture on a separate page. The second link is a page that has all the pictures It's gonna take awhile to load, so give it awhile.
The stats are also available on the second link(use the nav bar at the top).

He did a good job showing up. I was the one that hosted. Also, I think the war was really organized, you did a great job Dean.
Everything was awesome. No complaints. I wish I hadn't plowed into a post early in the day and wrecked my primary. But I did get a ton of practice using my Big Blast, which allowed me to get some barrel-tapping as well as some loser-rifling.
And in future I need to remember to make even more darts because they're a little TOO popular and get gobbled up by everyone. Even though I was the one that did the final dart pickup I'm still short by 200 darts considering I made 500 before the war and now only have 300 remaining.
The only thing that sucked was my Hornet decided to (again) leak at a critical moment. I'm about ready to buy some firecrackers and burn the dumb thing in effigy. It's worked great at home but it craps out on me in critical moments. I only got one hit with it during that whole round.

Anyway, my most memorable moments (in no real order):
-Dave trying to anally diddle Dean on top of the hill
-Shooting at Dean when he was on my team (because he had his tape in his pocket)
-Shorty's crazy RF20
-Dodging about eight darts from said RF20 at the base of the hill
-Pulling off an amazing headshot on Dean when he was running about 80' away
-Saving someone (their name escapes me) on my team from Jordan by sneaking up the hill, crouching and shooting him in the chest with my 2k
-Shooting Jordan in a particularly vulnerable area from a way off
-Jordan and I losing a round and getting badly diddled because our team who we thought were dead had just decided to disappear into the Gauntlet and leave us there
-Steve showing me how fast his RF20 could fire after I asked him on Thursday
-Nobody wanting to buy my completely stock SSII
-The best range out of an NF I've ever seen
-Matt saying WHAMMY after several of his hits
-All the younger kids taking hits and not being pussies
That's about it right now I think. Happy Father's Day!
