I personally find it stupid to fire one dart at a time with a Titan. If you have a gun that takes that long to reload, shotgunning darts is a good way to ensure that you don't miss (and it gives you a chance to take out more than one person in one shot).
Probably dead by now, or something.

It's been done in the mods section.Straying a little off topic here, what about a clip system for the Titan? It would lower the ranges while increasing the RoF.
As for the topic, ban whatever you have to. Your job as the organizer of the war is to ensure others' safety. The last thing you want is someone getting hurt, and the second-to-last thing is someone bitching about why you didn't do something to keep everyone happy. If someone wants to bring a superweapon to a nerf war (I.e. Titans, Singy, heavily-modded pump guns...), then they can. Just let them know it's going to be a showpiece and not get fired. Sure they're going to start arguing, but it's better them than you or someone more mature.

If someone actually uses a Titan, I think it's stupid. And that's NOT just from the perspective of the one being shot at.
From THAT viewpoint, there is no arc on the dart whatsoever. The darts are moving in an absolute straight-line path at rediculous speeds. Part of the reason Nerf is fun because there is the ability to dodge what's coming at you. With singled Titans and such, that fun is greatly diminished. You go from fearing getting hit because you don't want to get hit, to fearing getting hit because it's going to hurt like nobody's business. When you're fearing what's coming at you because it's going to HURT, rather than because of the point of the game, the fun's gone.
From the viewpoint of the one USING the gun, it takes forever to pump those damn things. Why would you find a gun that takes that long to prime so worth it, it all you get is one shot out of it? And the thing is REDICULOUSLY huge. Tell me, what is the point of something that is awkward to run around with if all it gives you is a single shot, with fifteen-twenty some-odd pumps? It just doesn't make sense.
Along the lines of what someone else mentioned earlier, making guns multi-shot is a GREAT way to not only keep the gun running at reasonable levels, but to make the gun a BETTER performer on the field. I know I've beaten this to death already, but AIRTECH 2000 turrets make the world go 'round. Dead serious. I put one on an LBB and the thing was instantaneously a monster. I'm putting one on a Big Blast right now, and can very rightly expect just as devastating results. And yet they're still just as accurate as before, are four times as intimidating to have pointed at you, fire four times faster (which, surprise surprise, keeps you ALIVE), and don't blow the top off of reasonable ranges.
We rarely have issues with overpowered guns for a few reasons. One, because almost all of them are too bulky to be any fun to use, and two, because we all want to have the opportinuty to be able to dodge a shot fired at us. So we're all just on the same page at our wars.
Lastly, specifically geared towards the Titan, why on earth would you even want to use one these days anymore, if you can just go buy a big blast? You can prime them SO much faster, and you actually have the ability *gasp* to round a corner quickly with them.
If you just go by what is PRACTICAL for your own use, then you won't have any problems.

Really when it comes down to it, if more then one person has a problem with a particular gun it's best just to bag it. Hell if you think about it, if it needs to be argued then it should probably be put away. It's not just a safety thing either, it's more just trying to keep the game fun.
Actually now that I think about it, I would let a Titan in under the condition that it fired the original rocket. Well even I did some simple mods to mine and loved shooting my roommate with that huge ass rocket. I blasted Langley directly in the face with one. I was fucking with one someone had brought and I had never really had a chance to play with one that was functional. Genius hit, I walked up behind him and said, "Yo Phil!" He turned around and from about 4 inches away blasted his ass.
Keep in mind, we're close, personal friends and I knew he wouldn't hit me, but that would normally warrent a bitch slap and kick to the ribs.

My thoughts in a paragraph.
I don't understand dart-modified Titans. Sure it's all about sheer power, but it really doesn't take a rocket scientist to modify a Titan to shoot 150' plus some. It's a lazy man's .458 Winchester Magnum--practically anyone with knowledge of cutting a PVC pipe and some duct tape can have such power.
But for what? Fun? Doesn't seem like anyone would have fun around a dart-shootin' Titan.
Pain? Fuel for more pseudo-macho talk about resisting pain and being a tough guy? What does that prove here? Absolutely nothing short of trying to make oneself out as the forum bully. Trust me, the only forum bullies around here are the ones with an admin control panel. It's the only way to keep order.
So then, dismissing fun (which no one seems to have around a dart-modded Titan), and pain (which most of us agree accomplishes very little for the game), what's left?
Not much.
That said, I agree with Tally about using Titans with the supplied rocket ammo. When we play, it's just an oversized dart with fins. But it does add a whole lot of laughs when "the rocket launcher" comes out and down a confined hallway! Miss, and the opposition "confiscates" the precious single shot, and creates a new reason to launch a siege against a hunkered-down target group.
And again, it doesn't mean we don't screw around with high-powered weaponry ourselves. But a modded SM1500, AT2ks, my SM5000 with 4" barrel, Max Shot, and Expand-a-Blast all fall within the "80-100 foot range", and the playing field is quite leveled for good outdoor play.
It's all about having fun. If it doesn't fit that criteria, banned.

I have been shot with a titan at near point blank range and I admit it was one of the wrost pains I ever felt (Next to punching a hole through my wall)
So that is where I am coming from.. And My post may not make much sense at first but it is true.
Like maybe a titan-user has to be at least 100 feet away and must drop the gun before advancing.
A way you could measure is bring a tape measurer and take a minute or two to measure it out.
Therefor fair to everyone- Meaning the shot will be equivelant to say a at2k.
