I'm sorry if this has been addressed already, I read this topic twice to make sure it wasn't.

So you play Risk as you normally would. On the board.

But when battles occur, you "Nerf it out" to decide the victor instead of rolling the dice? Is that it?

This may have been clearly stated already but I didn't see it.

Yes it has been clearly stated at least 3 times on this board

That is why it is related to Nerf and isn't just plain old Risk.

I'm not flaming you, I just want to set that straight as clearly as possible. This whole thread has been full of pointless flames and misconceptions about why it's Nisk, and not just Risk, so maybe typing it in large bold yellow text will help people understand it better.

I'm hoping to see some other users actually trying it out. Frankly, I don't have that much time in a day to be bouncing between a board game and the outdoors. And neither are my kids.

You don't even want to hear what my 9-year old son said about Risk and Nerf, together.

Wow so many responses! Ok I think I will address it all. Ok, your backyard is not split up into territories, it is just the battleground. A captain plays as well as decides your tactics. I guess an alternative may be if you kill him you get 2 kills or something like that. If your hit, your out. That counts as 1 life. Oh maybe someone can answer my question of whats " TDM" stand for? Thanks! Tell me if I missed anything
