This is my first paint job, and my only cosmetically modded gun, besides a NF golden gun (under construction).

I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

Edit- Ok, Im going to list some of the cosmetic mods I might be going to do:
-Cut off the scope thing at the back(done)
-Shorten the clip a bit(done)
-Paint flat black(done) with a thin metallic grey coating(more heavy on some areas)
-MAYBE add a bit of a rail to put a small scope on just for looks(done)
-MAYBE make the stock thing a bit bigger (done)
Pics are going to come out soon!

Then, when you finish painting it and whatnot, whatever you do, PUT SOMETHING BRIGHTLY COLORED ON IT.
I can't think of any other color scheme that would really fit the BR look that you're going for, so you'll just have to be REALLY careful. Don't let anyone ever suspect at a distance that it's real. Tie a nice LONG piece of orange marker tape dangling off the barrel or something. Just don't take it out and use it without something to show it's fake.

This is porbably my best looking mod yet. The reload barrel position is adjustable. Here is the pic:

Edit#2-Sorry I didn't think I would get so much comments. Anyways, I'll delete some pics of my bbb. Oh, and Falcon, I do not have any problems with the guns in wars. Nothing on my BBB breaks off easily since they are gluled on hard. Actually, I've had less problems with this than with my other clip BBB.The only real cosmetic mods was the stock enlargment(made it more comfortable) and the rail which is solid. And yes, the tube is 1/2 inch. cpvc that acts as the "clip".
Edit #3- Thinking about what Piney said, I am going to make a topic about my BBB in maybe 4-7 days since I have a new update(yes I work a lot on one gun)! Deleted all pics execpt for 1 in each post.

Nitewalker that thing is sick! I love it so much I just might go out and buy a BBB! It looks almost exactly the same as the Battle Rifle from Halo 2. (which just so happens to be my favorite weapon from that game)
Keep up the good work!
Edit: Is the barrel straight when the "clip" is up? I was just wondering if it look crooked because the "clip" isn't up.

This thread is for modification pictures. Carry on with more pictures, or clamp it.
Nice cosmetic and multi-shot mod you've got there. Now try taking that into a real Nerf skirmish. Hopefully all the add-ons won't fall off in the heat of a good battle. Ask anyone who's made extensive mods to their blasters. It works well when you're showing it off on a video or casually shootin', but when it comes down to it, nothing beats a good, solid, basic modified X-bow/ BBB/ SM1500/ SM5000/ Max Shot/ LBB, with minimal things to break or fail during gameplay.
Well, I'm convinced. Most of our users must play a whole lot of video games, because I have no clue what a HALO Battle Rifle is. But if it floats yer boat, then good on ya!

In the spirit of Piney's post (and since it'll be next to forever before I get around to painting it, so why bother waiting) I give you Andy.
Click on the picture for details. The duct tape is covering up a gap due to some slight over-dremeling. It's not holding the gun on in any way shape or form. I'll eventually epoxy some sheet metal over the gap or something.

Originally I was going to paint the gray parts black but then I realized I didn't have any black paint and it looked fine gray.
PS What do you think of the picture with the mirror?

This is my first mod. I dont think i did that bad. A nitefinder ex-3 with the standard internal work done. I put a "Colorific" barrel in rather than a Crayola because thats all i had. Unfortunatly the tube is smaller so i had to sand it down quite a bit on the inside. The dart still is pretty tight in the barrel, but i get about 45 to 50ft. with it banded. The part i like about my mod, is that in the "extra dart holder", i stuck an old mini Maglite (which fit almost perfectly) and a decent laser pointer (i had to widen the hole for that one) to replace the crappy one. Please tell my what ya'll think.
Here are the pictures. Sorry about the horrible quality.
