Don't you just LOVE late night modding weekends? Three days in a row, less than 8 total hours of sleep...it's amazing what they can do, isn't it? Isn't it, Bags?
Yes, it IS AMAZING... I just can't wait to unleash the OTHER things we worked on this weekend, like Spawnball for example...
...On the subject of the future top half of SickleFin II ...
I'll borrow the words of Teh Capin':
Teehee, it's funny how the rumor mill spins

Don't call it a comeback, I never left.

penguin807 thats something I have been wanting to do for a long time. Its scary how much alike we seem to think on mods. This and the BuzzSaw. Its getting kind of creepy.
Yeah. The creepiest part is that I know someone who's nickname is Z-man, and he is pretty much a clone of me when it comes to likes and dislikes. If you lived in Ontario, I'd be sure you were him.
Here's some eye candy.
It's funny how they say long distance relationships are tough, but you gain a better appreciation for your relationship when you're back together. I now know what they're taking about. I lost my NF back in October, and didn't see it until a week ago. I missed it dearly every war I had. And then finally I found it. It was under my pillow... Yes the pillow I sleep on. What was I thinking? I have no freaking clue.

I'm throwin a guess out, but does Falcon's crossbow have 2 SMDTGs and an accessory rail for the SF?
No. And don't waste space in the thread guessing. It'll just get everyone going, and ruin the thread. Be patient like everyone else.

A simple concept I admit, but I found it difficult to make holsters for the guns. Now I can use one hand to push these through the halls, and still wield another gun if needed. The next step is a simple one; start placing hooks on the horizontal rings from which to hang extra night finders, mavericks, ammo-bags, et cetera. At the moment, I have only the two gun mounted on it.
P.S. No, the wheels do not squeak.

I LOVE modding like this. Screw being clean and all that. Duct tape shit together...chicken wire...you name it. It's probably downright useless outdoors, but I can see that thing being DEADLY in a hallway. Especially if you took some cardboard and covered the wire areas leaving holes for barrels so you'd be shielded.

Twitch, as rediculous as that is...that is seriously awesome.

Thanks, Falcon. I was going to wrap the thing in chicken wire so it would be less...dart permeable, but the group with which I normally play has the standing rule that the weapon(s) one is wielding in their hand(s) can act as a shield; if I do anything else to make it into a tank, they'll just rise up against me, stage a foam-laden coup (I'm the group's Vice-President), and ban my delightful toys.
It would not be the first time modifications were banned because of my ingenuity/madness.

Very nice paintjob!
I have been thinking about how to use a breech system based off of the Unknown breech and a threaded piece of pvc as a barrel.
So, progress:
designing: %85
preparation: %20
actually doing it: %0
write-up: %-40

here's her front:
and my first creation, Ol' P.I.T.A. (pain-in-the-ass), who sports a very extended barrel w/weight attached, 2.5x scope, triple spring and AR removal, extended rail, reattached bipod, and a fixed stock.
fps view:
the extended rail is held to the rear rail catch with a flat piece of metal i found in my garage.
And the scope, which is actually practical.
I've listed the mods above, and no, i will never get around to painting them. P.I.T.A. has a finicky catch and pisses me me off constantly. i don't have any darts to test ranges with, but the PITA got 75' with a weighted dart, and the Painless gets 55'. i also have a double springed nf that gets 45' flat w/out bands, but it escapes me at the moment. if you are coming to mnsbw, you'll probably see it, depending on whether or not I fed it to my log splitter.
