Bone, NF's and sspb's are two of the EASIEST guns there are to mod. Why not throw a brass or petg barrel on both of em and slap a few rubber bands on the nightfinder? It will double your ranges.

Rebel Blaster with the scope removed, a piece by the handle removed (to make it more comfortable for me to hold), a CPVC barrel replacement, and ARs removed.

I'll probably do a new plunger chamber and a lengthened plunger rod as soon as I get home and get the materials (at college right now).

Even so, gets not-bad ranges right now.

The stock barrel is still on, I'm thinking its cpvc inside the stock barrel with a coupler on the end.

My ATK3 Mod. Sorry about big pictures. CPVC couplered, Plugged air tank and liquid air valve. Also I cut off the front bars of the pump to get a bigger pump as seen in AssassinNF's atk3 mod.
It get 85-95 feet. 95 feet is usually inaccurate but 85 is more accurate. This also may be because I might of angled it a bit more that time but I don't know.
The Gold Spraypaint is Rustolium Hammered and the Black is standard Krylon

This is my new NF.
Mods: 17/32" 4" brass barrel, 1/2" rubber band, added a second O-ring.
Also took out that stupid laser.

The first mod I'd ever done about a year ago. It gets around 90 feet but I don't want to incite any arguements about range so 80+ feet. Replaced the spring, brand new o-rings, strengthened plunger rod and plunger head, 9/16" brass barrel for my stefans, and its cut down (obviously).

Sm3k (8-barrels) modeled after the Japanese 8-headed mythological dragon, Yamata no Orochi.

The characters apparently mean "Big Snake of Eight Branches." I was going to brush paint them, but decided it would be too difficult given how small they needed to be:

I found this forum accidentally about three months ago. I loved what you guys were doing with these paintjobs, I just had to try for myself. Here are the two that I have done. The first was a Maverick.

I've since painted the handle a dark brown, with acrylics. But in this pic, it's all spray paint.

My second, I just finished this weekend. I found the Tek 10 at a thrift store and thought it would make for good practice. I went with a Halo inspired paintjob.




This one was spray paint as the base, and then a mix of acrylics and spraypaint for the weathering and such.

I'm having a ton of fun painting these. I've bought two other Mavericks and I have a Longshot on my xmas list. Can't wait to get started on those. If only it wasn't so friggin' cold out in the garage!

bull shit. dont claim absurd ranges that you can not prove.

90ft is probably angled. What alot of people don't seem to get, is that unless you can accurately shoot from the distance you claim, it doesn't mean very much.

Actually, I modded that gun a while ago and was a member of this forum, until I left it for some time and had to create a new account. And I didn't want to start controversy in the first place. If you want to have another NF range arguement talk to me in PM's and I'll try and get a video taken. FYI this was my second mod, I should have said first succesful, but I ended up scrapping the old blue NF to get at its spring and use some of its parts to strengthen this one, and I'll post another picture to stay on topic. I tried to avoid this in the first place, its what convinced me to leave the forums last time. Just because this is my first/second post it leads people to believe I have no actual skill or ability with tools or "skill" with nerf guns. As I said, if you want to continue with this Kid Flash PM me.



My NF that doesn't get 80+ feet because this is my first post and I must have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, or let alone succesfully mod a gun.

Well, my new First Shot exploded when I put in a Handyman spring, so now I fixed it!

The NF cocking handle is attached by Loctite (thanks Renegade), and Epoxy Putty (thanks Baghead).

I'm still looking for a more secure trigger pull for it.

Added the spring from the orange thing that fired the balls. Fill the dead space up with some FBR. 17/32 brass barrel nested in SCH:80 CPVC.

Captains Slug mod is done to it. The only thing I did different is that I place OMC PETG down the SCH:80 CPVC barrel. New home made trigger, cause I broke the one that came with it.

Finally fixed my Big Blast, Splitfire, and my "homemade" is dry.

The BBBB has a 17/32 and 9/16 telescoping barrel, sleeved in PVC with PETG to make a seal in the PVC connected to the airtank. With a okay stefan, it gets 105+. With a Tagger w/o a tagger head, it gets 80-90 feet.


The SF is 17/32 (I think... great fit on stock darts) in two inches of 9/16 brass. Gets 80 feet with taggers, not tested with stefans.
Matches with my sisters "great design pattern" in the bathroom. My parents just want her to because a interior designer, but she failed.

My "homemade" is just 2k pump in 1/2 PVC with a CPVC barrel. The darts have e-tape over them to prevent ripping.
