I'm resurrecting an old war beast that LouieC3 made back in the day. It really needed to be reborn in a modern setup. It's currently packing a cut down [k26] under the hood and it's completely bonkers even with the stock breech during tests.

 

Pump grip and hybrid cpvc and brass breech is still in the works.

What's on workbench at the moment:

 

"RaptorStrike" (Work In Progress). Ultraminimised Rapidstrike re-shelled in a Tornado Strike body, with integrated Demolisher launcher. Currently running 180's and teeny-tiny 2S lipo in a power-stock until I fit the triggers and sort the wiring properly. Just sorted rev and pusher-motor triggers and switches. Because I inadvertently cut off the supports for the pusher-motor control switch when minimising, I've decided to go with MTB's Rapidstrike wiring-loom. Some shots of the basic internals here.

 

 

 

And some older stuff:

 

The "Postman". 'Cause he always rings twice. Hammershot/Messenger masterkey integration. Hammershot trigger sorted to first fire Hammershot (on a hair-trigger), then the Messenger (with a longer pull). Have run Messenger before as a shotgun, but prefering it now in it's usual 1-2-3 firing sequence.

"Nerkita" Rayven. Hypercats Dewalt coil-nailgun "homage". Makita 9.6v NiCd battery fully integrated to run the Rayven. This one currently running stock motors on improved wiring and switchgear; Mark 2 has 180's, INR-18650's (and an infinitely better paint-job ...eventually).

 

The "MessStrike". Messenger/Firestrike integration. My take on SBNC Rob's Retaliator-gripped Messenger. Brassed, air-flow tuned and running the legendary Champion BS0939 (3-3/4" x 5/8" x 16G) AU$2.00 spring addition. No chrono so will make no wild claims ... you'll just have to trust that it's pretty decent. Some comparative spring data here though.

Just made this one, anyone like it? I used a simple Orange Mod Works spring to boost the performance quite a bit. I also sealed the plunger with electrical tape, removed the air restricter, and greased it a little with white lithium grease.

Here is my Nerf Vault Tec R91 Assault Rifle. A stock stryfe with many aesthetic add-ons.I would have just made a realistic G3/CETME rifle but the gun had to be colorful for use in HVZ and other games which limited my options. The only way I could make a colorful gun cool was to make it a fallout R91.

I have never tried making something like this so a lot of it was by trial and error. The main tools used were a box cutter knife, sand paper and glue. I hand carved the stock, handguard and the rear sight from wood.I also filed down the trigger, rails, digital designs for a realistic look and added a faux bolt assembly that has a spring inside and the bolt can lock back and spring forward just like on a real hk gun. The iron sights also are functional and resemble hk sights.

I think it turned out very well, let me know what you guys think

Here's my Modulus with integrated Deploy stock, Retaliator barrel with integrated LSFG sight and barrel, because it gives L33T ranged and uber accuracy, plus the 3s Lipo,  18AWG silicone wiring, high current Microswitch and Xt60 connector helps a touch with that. 

Super happy with how this turned out and glad to finally have had a use for that waist of space Deploy. 

I also relocated the sight rail back a fee inches so it can be used more ergonomically when shouldered with the longer stock. Doing this also opened up the jam door for easier access. 

 

Oh my goodness! I Don't believe I've ever seen a nicer looking blaster on the haven!  I'm wasting one of my posts today just to say how incredible this is!  Amazing work!

the first step in making the apollo more war worthy. if you want to try something similar dont try and make the stock attachment point yourself, just cut the back off a recon or other trash blaster that accepts stocks.

Fresh off the workbench. Her name's Kaasi.

 

 

 

Some may argue that it's a waste if you don't replace the plunger tube, but I disagree. I think it takes away from the character of the blaster, and I already have a plusbow. This punches 125 fps with stefans, so I'm happy. I just have a few more minor reinforcements to make and it's done.

Here's the latest from my workshop - one First Order E7-11 Stormtrooper Rifle (Officer issue)



I've seen a lot of pristine versions of this rifle out there, so I planned from the get-go to make this baster look very used. I laid down a flat aluminium base under the black areas and, once again, used a rocksalt mask to get some chips around the edges. As an added bonus, if I accidentally rub the black away there's a layer of metallic aluminium under there!

I went a bit overboard with the rocksalt on the first coat and so went back over it with less salt and more black. This gave the black a mottled, fatigued look to it which came up great in the weathering stage.

I would love to see that write up.  the burst wave is my favorite stock and modified blaster.  i love the stock concept, the mod potential and the ergonomics. although i don't own one,  i plan to get one and i feel like almost no one has done anything with them.  its nice to see someone has. great work.

 

 

you want a pic? heres a pic.  this was my idea for a pump action tek six. needless to say, it didnt work. so i kept the maverick slide as just a fore grip.  the mav handle is very comfortable and i like the tek six's stock performance. the only internal mods have been seal improvement and barrel post removal. and im never yosuing my webcam as a camera again

Demolisher 'Bolt Gun'

 

 

 

 

I removed most of the locks, replaced the wiring with 18g silicon, deleted the missile launcher and used the pump grip to make a new fore-end. I run a 3s LIFepo4 battery which sits in the fore-end ( one side can be unscrewed to access the battery ). Shoots hard and is very loud- I like it a lot...

Main mod here is the 7 shot 3D printed chamber/turret- it fits perfectly with very little work, and rotates just fine like the original. Didn't bother fitting a new spring as it's plenty powerful enough in stock form for my needs.

My Fixed And Painted Raider Pistol (it looked super makeshift before)

 

My Firestrike Cannon (probably not even that high of a fps as I don't have a choronograph)

 

so last game I went to (octoberish)

 

I let my sister use my raider and she isn't very strong and put it down

 

either she or some other "demon spawn" got a vinyl tiped dart inside the front grip (infront of the trigger guard)

 

I'm still in shock on how that was managed

 

no kid ive met is able to get a nerf gun jammed like that
