This thread needs more pictures of mod'ed guns.

My RF20: The Ruckus
That's an air compressor attached to the back. After making extra drums for darts, and modifying the blaster so I can easily load the gun, I wanted a way to easily fill the bladder. The thing can go from completely empty to fully loaded and primed in just under 8 seconds. (great for the zombie-games).

Posted Image

Posted Image

Posted Image

I've spliced the compressor into the stock tubing, so I can still use the manual pump if the battery dies in the middle of the games.

Posted Image

After the holidays are over and I have a bit more disposable income, I'm going to ditch the air compressor in place of a 3000psi air tank (Thank you Forsaken_Angel24 for the idea.) and splice a 2nd RF20 after the regulator, so I can dual-wield the beasts. (Thanks to CaptainSlug for this idea.)

And my next "integration." This is just the prototype; if I find it manageable enough, I'm going to replace the zip-ties with various bolts and mechanical fasteners so I can disassemble the gun for easier transport. Each gun will be panted a single color, and it shall be named Voltron.

Yeah, I know Voltron was only 5, but I figure the At3k counts as the sword....

Twitch, those two Nerf guns are simultaneously the funniest and most terrifying things on the planet.

My Maxshot. It needs some touch-ups on the paint, but it'll have to wait until spring, as it is far from good painting weather here.

Posted Image

It has a PEX barrel, and shoots modified stock darts (I forget what they're called) about 90ft flat.

And yes, I know my barrel is too short.

That's my first and only paintjob. I think it sucks but...

http://img204.images.../img6094ro3.jpg

And finally my coupler'd NF.

I do have at LEAST 10 more guns. 2 are being re-modded (BBB, First shot) and the rest I was too lazy to put up -_-

Thank you all for the compliments. To answer some questions, cocking the BBB is no different than otherwise
and I hold it pretty much the same way as a normal BBB, except holding a magstrike handle instead of the Bow's foregrip.

The BBB at rest
Posted Image
and primed
Posted Image
The handle of the BBB slides right between the tank-shells of the magstrikes.
While it's not really heavy, it gets tiresome hauling the thing around for four hours, holding it at shoulder height. To fix this problem I'm constructing a wheeled tripod to hold it, so I just push it around the hallways like a mobile artillery installation.

I can even carry The Ruckus along, if so inclined.
Posted Image
The shoulder strap lets it hang right at my waist, so all I have to do is drop my hand to the trigger.

I have decided upon a paint job; each gun will be painted a single color (black, red, green, blue, and yellow) in honor of it's name: Voltron.

As for my inspiration....well,
Posted Image
may have been involved.

And lastly, the sight that seems to send all the tyros running.
Posted Image

Thanks again, and sorry for kinda hi-jacking such a large portion of the page, and if the pictures are blurry/large, et cetera.

I've heard rubbing alcohol and nail polish remover will get permanent marker off plastic. People have suggested both acetone and non-acetone nail polish removers, but I've never had to use either.

Whatever you decide to try, it might be a good idea to do a spot check before you attack the permanent marker, but I imagine the plastic these guns are made of will stand up to any of those three options.

Maeric, that's a nice paintjob. I usually don't like cut down Longshots, but yours is nice.

I painted this one at night (Who could tell?). It's an old picture though. I got rid of the front part of the scope and the foregrip, and gave it a decent barrel a while back.

Edit: fixed the link (not like anybody noticed though).

Make sure the top of your gun is parallel to the ground when firing.
Finish those other mods so I have something else to read on here.
Now have a coke and a smile and shut the fuck up. :)

The mod. The only thing I did differently was to use a piece of sintra plastic to cover up the hole in the front instead of hot glue.

cool, but let's keep these types of posts to the minimum, okay?

Do you acctually post pictures in here, or just get your underware in a bunch? Stop the backseat modderating, I know this sounds hipocritical but really. It annoys people.

So this post isn't useless

Behold my second paint job. My minimized and completely screwed Firefly. It sucked when I got it and that didn't change. I learned a valuble leson about painting, You really need to paint the whole thing. Covering part of it with tape leads to a bad paintjob. Cover the whole thing in paint then touch up with other colors.

I've been asked how I got the water droplets, so here ya go.

I used a technique I saw on the show "how it's made" to make the droplets. You basicly paint the base layers, then spray on some water from a spray bottle. After that, lightly mist the piece with white. The paint will be collected in the droplets and flow to the bottom of each drop, because paint is heavier than water. After that, put the piece near a heat source and wait for the water to dry.
Voila! water droplets.

My titan from Ebay bought NIB.
Its a CPVC breech, and has the pump plugged, firing pin fixed, and the tilt things removed. Gets 140 feet+ with a streamline with a BB in it.
Posted Image

My titan missle has a 1" PVC endcap duck taped on. I shot a box and it DESTROYED it. Gets 60 feet with 20 pumps.
Posted Image
Posted Image

My SS2. Everyone says the valve is "finicky" but mine is PERFECT. Has a plugged pump too.I can pump it 28 times and shoot through 2 sides of a box. OMC's PETG with etape around it to fit at2k pump tube. Gets around 100 feet with taggers at 12 pumps.
Posted Image
Posted Image

Edit: SS2 is plugged, and please excuse the foot and the retainers. :P

Thats a pretty f**king cool paintjob. How did you do it?

This is my first post in this topic, and I'd just thought I'd share some of my friends paintjobs (I can never be arsed to paint guns, just mod them. Plus, I'm rubbish at painting).

Posted Image

Posted Image

Posted Image

I think the NF is the best by far out of them all, but the Fireflys pretty cool too. As for mods;
*Longshot - intergrated side arm, AR's removed, NF spring and a locked stock.
*Firefly - AR's removed
*Brown NF - AR's removed, very nice spring replacement (bought modded from ebay..)
*Gray/Black/Red/Green NF - AR's removed, laser sight partical removed, half a gate bolt spring replacement and banding

EDIT: I've just noticed the darts in the NF XD need to take them out before the get miss-shaped.
