Yea rain dates are kind of pain in the ass. The only real reason that we have them is because if it rains substantially that we loose half our playing field to water. It collects in all the ditches and dykes and whatnot. We also lose a nice sized beach head which can be used for getting to point A to point B quite fast. Not to mention the lengthy bridges turn into 70 foot long "Crocodile Miles" if you catch my drift.

Spoon actually took one hell of a bad fall at Apoc last year when I was trying to catch up to him. He lept up onto the bridges and since it was wet and he was going with the grain, he hit the bridge hard, we'll just say that. I felt bad, but I still tapped him for a kill. No hard feelings Spoon .

So the date is August 10th, and we could very well have more people than last year. Sounds good to me guys.

Yeah... So far on our team we have like six people, we still have to find out if we can go or not and who will be driving and who will be going...

Well part of New Jersey is the landfill/toxic waste dump for New York City, but that's the Northern portion. Apoc will be on the Jersey shore in Southern New Jersey. There are no landfills, but New Yorkers visit us here on the boardwalk. At times, I've seen them video tape us and say "Ooo. Look Natives! Gee it must suck to live here."

So what's the date we're currently set for?

I'm thinking 11AM to 6PM or 6:30PM. So that means everyone needs to be there maybe quarter to 11AM so we can actually start kicking ass at 11AM.

Alright, I know this war has gone through so many date changes it's not even funny. But you see, if it's happening the 10th, I can't go. My girlfriend's going away party is that day and she's goin to college so I kinda have to go. If maybe you could change it to the following Saturday or Sunday, you guys would be extremely badass.

Also, Kearny will be in attendance for the war. I just spoke to him and he said that summer school ends before August so he'll be here.

alrighty, why am i feeling that this is gonna be another crapfest till the last minute and no ones gonna want to go to this war? Fucking since May War everyone on the east coast has been on a Nerfing hiatus. LCMers haven't picked up guns since the beginning of April. It's boring not Nerfing, and if the lull keeps up, the east coast Nerfer count might just dwindle. So, Guys, We're fucking having this war. Lets keep this thread fresh with attendee lists, and Us LCMers guiding them to our battlegrounds. I'd hate to see this fall apart because its ours... C'mon guys...

Okay August 10th it is. Everyone try and be there between 10:30AM and 11:00AM so that way we have a chance to get started rather early.

I think we're looking to close up shop around 6:30PM or so, and if you need directions please contact either Shindig or myself. We will gladly help you if you are serious about attending the LCM hosted NJ Apoc: 2003. Thanks guys.

I like how much thought was put into my proposal. I'm sure if certain people needed it changed (look above this post) it would be changed right there on the spot. Also I like how one arbitrary decision can set this shit in stone. Well I'm glad Howie stated his opinion (bitched) and yeah. So yeah, I hope you guys have fun, dicks.

Warlock, you can still come for part of the day. Evil or I will drive you to the war and back to your girlfriend's party when you need to be there. I admit the date is kind of harsh, but unless you can find another more convenient date, we're stuck. The Horsemen and LGLF have problems with the weekend before, and the one after gets close to the start of college for many of our participants.

The war date was set a long time ago, and is on my work calender and my home calender to keep the day open. I think everyone should really do that, so they know the day will be open to war.

Evil and I just talked and we feel that the war is a go. A banner and website will be up soon, and I will get us a permit. The permit will allow for fewer problems with park staff (which hasn't really been a problem, but they got edgy at last year's attendance). The whole plan is to just have everything set up for that day, with some support items (water jug, cups, flagging tape, etc) and to let everything fall into place. We've done it before at Reckoning and Apoc, so I don't think there will be a problem. Most people attending are pretty laid back anyway.

We're not going to change the date because one person of some 20+ isn't able to make it. Maybe you could stay half the day and get in a few rounds but we're not going to, like Shindig said, change it now because it works for the Horsemen, LGLF, and practically all the LCM members, and a week later would be too late for those attending colleges.

You're taking this personally and don't act like if I couldn't go we'd change it. If 25 people are gonna go, which is the number we're looking for if Mystic's proposals are sincere, I wouldn't ask for it to be changed. 20 people out weigh 1, easily. We need to get this up and move forward with it because we don't want another failed war like the LGLF's May incident.
