Just from the looks of the picture, and my rough estimates, the plunger looks to be about the size of a NF plunger, maybe a bit smaller, so I'd gusee about 65 feet flat singled, and 45 feet flat multi-barrelled. Not that good, but I'll use it for the great feel that I see in the pic. Like a Double Shot; it sucks, it looks really hard to mod, but I love it.

I am not anxious to get excited over either of the guns, because of the bust that the Mav was.

First, you don't care about looks? I'd buy a sucky gun if it was cool. Also, the FireFly has the old plunger system, not the one the Maverick had, so you can expect better performance, i think, because the old plunger system allowed a larger plunger tube per unit space.

Yes these are fall releases, and we didnt see any internals, but im guessing they (plungers) are larger then the NF Ompa.

Note the RIS rail on the top. Wonder if you can put it in the bottom of the Titan like the Hornet. I'm also thinking the batteries and tracer unit stuff could be taken out for integrations.

I was also thinking of somthing to make room for longer barrels in the revolver:


A foregrip could also be added to the bit in the front.

edit: also, if you planne don keeping the tracer unit, you would have to PETG mod the revolver.

Wow, this stuff looks awesome. Those dart tag blasters look sweet. Do you guys know if they ever plan on selling the blasters alone? I highly doubt it but it'd be nice.
It looks like the casing of the firefly partially covers up some of the barrels which would make longer barrels more challenging. Is it possible to get a more front angle picture?
All in all, thanks OMC and Talio, you guys rock. Now I have one reason to be looking forward to the new school year.

The orange thing on top is the cocking mechanism like the Maverick.  There are ammo holders on both sides.  The switch turns the light on and off.  A light flashes to activate glow in the dark darts each time the trigger is pulled.

Am I the only one here who thinks that thing looks uncomfortable and ugly? I hate P90's, and that's almost kind of like one...

It's funny, back when the mav. came out I posted somewhere saying something along the lines of: "eh that looks fun, but I'd really like to see a giant MAIN version of it for practical outdoor nerfing use" and there it is! Two different guns thats are basically blown up mav.s -wootage.

This is what you get in the Dart Tag set for 40 bucks. Those vests would never fit us, but the glasses fit on my fat face.

NSF and A999, while it took obvious styling and ergonomic cues from the P-90, it's not supposed to be one. It's a Nerf Firefly. When you get one, you go ahead and make it look like a 90, but until then, it looks damn fine to me.

Excellent...in stock form, the Firefly is probably another blaster that we can shoot our TV sets with (meaning running the adventure DVD...my son never gets tired of it.)

While it's still in my cranium...I brought this up during the old Q & A thread, and VoLT brought it up a couple pages back in this one, but are they going to release a new adventure DVD? I think it would give my son convulsions of joy if they do. He really likes it...as much as the blasters. Even after running it 300 times or so.

N-Strike is definitely Hasbro's answer to kick some new life into the Nerf line. I'll say it again...it's a great time to be into Nerf.

A month has not passed in the NIC without someone predicting that The End Of Nerf was right around the corner.

I nerf with people who have tons of old-school guns in their arsenals. The xbow is the only gun used regularly which wasn't readily available in the last few years. Think about that. The entire pre-2001 history of nerf has been rendered demonstrably irrelevant by what has come since.

Yes, we fired both. We both latched onto one. He really liked the firefly, I really liked the Dart Tag gun.

The power is about the same as a nitefinder. There's really no other way of telling untill we get it to open it up.
