The November war worked out very nicely and I'm glad we have the opportunity for a war as soon as this January. For this topic we have to work out a date, a time, and try and get a head count. So far it looks like the first two weeks in January are what we are looking for. If weekdays are good please speak up, because almost any day is good for me once vacation starts.

First things first, Winding River or Mill Creek?

I vote Winding River because I think their won't be as many leaves to swallow darts and on top of that if we all carry our stuff in lets say a duffle bag or a backpack, we'll be able to utilize a substantially bigger piece of the park. Last time we only played in less than half of what that park has to offer. We didn't play in "No Man's Land" or the "Field".

I recall Tyler and I thinking those two places specifically would be amazing for all kinds of matches.

(No Man's Land: Is a flat, somewhat wooded portion of the park with weird cover and a good mix of open space. It's not barren, but its definitely worth a pistol round. You'll have to see it to appreciate it. It's one of those places where you can watch the whole battle unfold no matter where you are.

The Field: Is a huge field larger than a football field which would be good for some three team deathmatches or straight up crazy no cover CTF)

Well lets be honest, unless your planning on having another LCM pistol fest, your going to lose more darts at winding river in the places you want to play. I mean for god sakes, part of it landed us in a swamp. If you can find area's that are more open, and set boundaries that will keep people from running into undesirable area's it would be cool. But face facts...you guys are only really interested in playing in the woods, and your going to lose ass loads of darts no matter what.

Thats a pretty big generalization (that we only want woods play) since the LCM is often the first group to agree to play on open tennis courts, basketball courts, and fields. What we're interested in doing, is having a varied field. Both Mill Creek and Winding River offer that.

This is true, but some of us get peeved when we walk home with no darts. <_<

Mill Creek, because I've never been to Winding River. I am definatly in, but my break only goes untill the 2nd of January so Weekdays don't work for me, pretty much any weekend day would work, I mean I can get a ride if I don't have family crap to go to.
