No, but you can trade the extras, depending on what you have.  I am always looking to trade junk for junk, especially for Deploys, regular ATs, RF 20s, etc.

Rain is looking likely, I've never gone to a NENO when it rained. Is there a rain policy? Or do we just go with whatever.

War is still on, regardless of weather.  Bring a rain jacket and a change of clothes.

The forecast has improved to 51 degrees with periods of light rain.  The heavy stuff has been bumped to the evening.  I'd still bring rain gear and a change of clothes, but this is much better than the earlier forecast.

Ahhhh everyone forgot to do a war recap!
Well, first I'll plug in my shitty videos here
 

I would like to say, this was a fun war. Glad we had a peak turnout of like 11-12? The rounds were fun though the rain sucked. I got pretty much footage of all the rounds but I don't want to bother trying to sit through and cut everything. A lot of stuff was made last minute at this war too, USCs were converted into slugs and a rainbow made at the field. That's gotta be a first, and it was fun. 

I would like to thank everyone who worked hard and traveled far to make it to the war. Especially in the rain. It was fun and a great time, can't wait for more.

Awesome to have you! I really appreciate the time and effort you and DX make to attend, help run, and contribute to the awesome wars we have been having!

 

Pros:

• Langley- Thank you so much for coming out and playing with us. You really helped make this war special and memorable.
• Great turnout even when many people couldn't make it 
• Having fun and balanced rounds even when I made all of the teams. I like having team captains, but in order to make good rounds for this war, it was necessary for me to balance them, but we still managed to have everyone fight with one another on the same team. 
• efficient lunch, thank you to Devil's mom for getting us the food; it saved people having to leave the field
• good 3/15, stock rounds, and CTF
• Having fun the night before
• Having SeriouslyHarry back (the original NENO host)

I would like to thank everyone for coming and having fun with us. I think DX has the group photo which will be posted at some point. I will also have first person war videos on my youtube channel hopefully be mid June.

It was definitely nice to have a war after a 3 month break.

 

NENO 15 was decent personally. I had made my blasters and darts the day before and they all sucked. The field was decent...personally prefer fountain/woods or the old NENO place. Open field can be fun and challenging though (especially if your blasters shoot like 50 feet), and we did have cover for CTF.  

 

Some highlights

-bringing a +1

-giving my snap to the raffle when everyone else put in broken supersoakers

-rain (I enjoy it)

-seeing people and meeting new people

-CTF (20-something seconds)

-an asian vs all round (guess who won)

-better attendance then last NENO

-free gatorade

 

Personal rant points

-hate hate superstock...sentinals were fun though

-blasters falling apart and shooting 50 feet

-no prep for the war itself

 

Looking forward to summer wars if I can make them.

If you like sentinel, we will do sentinel as superstock lmao. I didn't realllyyy like it but it replaces the pistol round.
Also, for darts we're working on something that'll be cheaper quicker and easy, just need wide bore barrel

You need a wide bore barrel, .5+ ID
Get like polyester or .527 alu, hell I think brass works too. USCs don't like CPVC unless it's magic (like really wide magic)
