We will move it two weeks into the spring if weather or conditions are bad. If there is only an inch or two of powder on the ground or something like that, we will play, but I don't think anyone wants to play (or drive for that matter) in blizzard conditions.

That's what I figured. I'm mostly considering road conditions, and its good to know you have a back-up plan. Keep us posted if things change.

Someone should bring a first aid kit, now I think of it, one of us may fall on ice. I'm still hoping for snowtime play though,

I am perfectly happy playing in the snow. Driving there might be more of a problem. As it is I can't confirm until a day or two before and any bad road conditions will greatly reduce my chances of coming. I really hope to see you there!

Do you know what day it is? It's the 17th today, (Wednesday) Meaning this saturday is the 21st. It's next saturday, (the one after this one)

I am ready. The weather is forecasted to be 40 degrees and partly sunny.

Snow is still on the ground but it isn't more than 6 inches deep by my reckoning. Still has a week to melt, with several above freezing days to go. Bring tall boots. Additionally, if you haven't started making darts, now would be a good time to start. 300 would not be a bad amount due to the fact that we are going to lose some in the snow.

EDIT: Just went out today with a yard stick and the snow is 5 inches at it's deepest, and is even completely gone in some areas. That being said, the ground underneath is very wet, so the water resistant boots and pants are still recommended.

Aeromech, are koosh darts allowed in slightly modified ( <100 fps) nerf guns?

Thank you everybody for coming out to my first war as host. I had a great time and I hope everybody did too. Nice seeing old and new faces, and keeping a nice pace in the snow.

Admins, sorry for the late response.

This was a very fun war. Aeromech did a great job hosting his first war. I know how hard it is to get people to play and organize rounds. The cold was making a lot of people lazy.

Pros:
Seeing everyone again.
Really good CTF and 3/15 rounds.
Participating in my first snow war.
Short car ride.

Cons:
Dart recovery.
I can't dodge air blasters with boots.
Not using my own blasters.
