These two guys keep saying I'm the bassist in their ska band, but I think they're just lying.

how does that happen?

Dire shortage of bassists. I just picked up my bass this Christmas, and haven't put any actual time into learning to play it just yet. I will eventually, though. I think I may learn Dvorak first though. And then VC++ 6. Then maybe Helicopter piloting. Then, if there's time, Bass.

By that time, I'm sure we'll have sold out or something. ^_^

[edit: In retrospect, I don't believe old ska is known for "selling out." That's grandpa music!]

Well "track02" doesnt have lyrics yet, at all. Still working on that. "track01's" lyrics are still being revised, but the way they are sung matches the song, but doesnt follow along exactly with the music.

We sound punky because everyone in the band has different tastes with a few common favorites. Our singer listens to hardcore/emo. I listen to punk/ska/rockabilly. The drummer listens to anything and everything, And our two guitarists listen to classic rock. We all LOVE AFI and The Living End, so alot of that is starting to come through aswell.

"Nerf HAven is full of bass player's cool. "

Im the only uprightist though :P

Yes but I'm learning Chello.

I play bass. Some people say I play for them. Some people tell me to stop playing. You can be the judge of that.

We have just created our first promo cd. The songs on it sound awesome.
'Women In The Water', 'Lost', and 'Backdraft'. However, no back up vocals from me...well, maybe I don't do much in the singing area, but I do yell.

I play insanely...I now have a wireless system for myself, which means, I run around freely at concerts. Heck, I could start our songs and not even be on stage. I play a five string fender, a four string Ibanz (Its my baby) and, a four string Washburn. Just depends on what I feel like pickin up. Mostly however, I use the five string. That deep 'B' string, is bad ass.

I also yell in our band, not much, because we don't want over kill, but enough.

**Concert at the Whiskey A-go-go on July 12th. Be there, or be alone.**

Gainsae means Contradiction.

Note: I also have two over bands. One, thats in the works. And my praise band at my church called the 'X-Band'. Its for a service called Gen-X (NeXt Generation) every Saturday night. I figured the name fit. I actually sing for that band, someone else plays bass.

Random update: Warlock from these boards and my old guitarist from another band are currently working on a heavy metal project. I'm expecting some friends to make guitar and vocal cameos on the recordings. Should be good stuff, I'll definitely have you guys get an ear of it if you want. Just give us some time to record.

We've got a lot of old material that we're going to refine and reuse. Good stuff if you like aggressive music.
