im going to be out late on thursday night

At Harry Potter, dorkfacepantsnuts!!one

J'skiddin, only reason I'm not there right now is my wife is a bigger fan and called it first.

IF YOU DOUGHT there will be mobsticals I give you proof: half of the snap-bars curing as we speak. As it turns out most small hardware store do not, in fact, have 36 lengths of 3/4 pcv on had. But they DO do special orders :D

Sorry guys, this mod party isn't going to work out. I have too much non-nerf stuff I need to take care of before I leave. I'll have a build party after this war, and it will be AWESOME!

sweet- you going to have some video? I might if I can find my camra.....

Also are is there going to be any time set aside for trades/sales? Also would anyone be intrested in some grey/black foam? Nerf63 was selling some and I was thinking of picking up the remaining 1500-1800 feet he was selling off.

I will take some "video" on my phone. Trading time is best right away first thing, or around lunch.

OP UPDATED: I have finalized game types and legitimately have all the materials for the gams types listed. Proof? Check it out: a garage full of nerfy love : D

Totally pumped for this. I got a few guns working now, just need to go get a second battery for my AT20 and either mod it for stefans or buy some more Buzz Bee darts.

A Minnesota nerf outing that will probably happen in 90ish° weather... Something just seems wrong about that sentence.

I am superjacked, I have almost every piece of my shit together for this war!

A few things:
- I have acquired water and nutrition ( cheeseballs) for public consumption.
- I have made all the darts i need for existing trades, plenty for myself, and several hundered more if people want to trade for them.
- Srsly, we have some TKA (total kick ass) game types, some never played before. Take at look here for one of the games I have lined up.

So jacked!

Hey hey! So uh, I woke up and thought today was the 24th, so I biked all the way up to the park, and there was nobody there. The good news is, that Highland Park still exists! Yes, it has maintained its usual molecular structure, so we will be able to play. Tomorrow. Also, there was a little kid who was having a birthday party! I was sure to smoke and cuss extra hard while I was there. Anyway, see you all tomorrow, unless Highland's earthly state license has expired.

Just got back from my trip to Florida. I'm blistered, bruised, and burned....but that will NOT stop me from bringing my A-game to this shindig. I'm bringing a bunch of stuff to sell and give away. As SonReece has seen, driving a Soccer Mom Van has some benefits. If anyone needs barrel spacers let me know. I'll hook you up with a "I Nerf with you" discount.

Like pullin' MAD trim! No srsly: mad.

@Kip_what - that shit is funny right there.

So, I'm packed. Yeah, 100% ready. Have been for over 4 hours. I would advise everyone to be at the point where they can wake up and go tomorrow: we need to get the most out of the day lest it is death hot.

I only stayed until lunchtime for this war, but the 3-4 hours I was there were an absolute blast. This was my first time to a real war, my only other time being a mega flop to which only me, SonReese and Velveeta showed up.

Pros:
-19 people came to play, and we also had a number of spectators. Some of which actually came specifically to watch us! So much fun!
-My homemade gun, a single-shot Taiwan style (3dbbq) air blaster, worked very well, with only a few jamming problems at the beginning caused by unfamiliar ammo.
-Hitting Velveeta (and plenty of other people) from 120+ feet away and they don't even know who could have hit them.
-Kid with cape and kid with blue hair. Awesome!
-Old guy with beard who was as sneaky as a ninja in Defend the Core. I don't think anyone managed to stop him even one time when he would go to add darts to the core.
-Riding in Velveeta's ghetto ride to McDonalds, which we converted to a low rider by packing 800+ lbs of people into it.
-Watching people run, fall, and then slide home, all while gripping a plastic snowman.
-Trading a few guns I'll never use for a big pile o' quality pink darts, which I really will use.

Cons:
-Some yuppie came and kicked us out of the pavilion. Even though we would have left at the first request he had to bring a park/rec dude with him, as if we were troublemakers.
-I think someone might have got shot in the face, but I was going to a spawn at the time and didn't see who. Someone got cussed out and we kept going though.
-I couldn't stay the whole time.
-Defend the core spawns for the offenders were much too far away, but it was still fun.
-Velveeta damaged his muffler during our low-rider session to Mc.D's on a speed bump.
-I didn't have time to learn everyone's name. Bummer.

I saw a number of people with cameras taking video, including one girl who had a camera on her hat, and another kid who I kept calling "Speedy" who had one mounted on his gun. So hopefully we get some good video.

I just have to say that Mario Kart is my favorite new round. It's the perfect mix of 3/15 and meatgrinder. Territories worked well, although it would be nice to try it someplace like Langford or whatever that park is called where there's room for more spawn points.

Losing the muffler was a bit of an annoyance, but it'll be easy enough to fix. I might finally rip out the last piece of the crappy exhaust that the last owner had on it too. I just wish I hadn't lost my boomarang, maybe it will have fallen down from the tree it's stuck in by the next war.

That was me- I probly shouldn't have cussed so much but people kept shooting those damn bows(and whatever else- hard to tell at times) at me and arcing the shots so they ether went over my head(or in this case- right to the mouth) or into the neck(witch happened a few times). I was yelling cause they all aim too damn high(Im 6'2"- I should not get hit in the face)- there is plenty on my lower body to shoot at....
got hit in the neck 3-4 times and twice in the face- got hit like... maybe 10 times on the body(or legs). (I skiped a 2-3 rounds cause I am just too tired today- too little sleep)

Pros:
-decent turnout
-Showing off my rather large collection of 3B's lol(and the random other guns I had with me)
-Not sliping in the rain and falling into mobsticals like Spano
-sweet mobsticals and games provided by SonReeceSonJensen
-Having a few more of my freinds there(including my freind Dan who was the Ninja with the Blue hair)
-Having an Awesome time
-not getting shot in the eyes

Cons:
-not getting any of that sweet pavilion shade.
-People aiming far to high and hitting me in the face/neck repeadedly
-being too tired to play every round
-not everyone knowing exactly what the rules for the diffrent match types(like responzone size, rules for flag fliping in territorys, ectra)
-Ex Gf pulling one of my guns in half(well wasnt that big a deal- just annoying to fix)
-limited trade/sale time
-quite a few people I know couldn't make it.

It was great to be back! One of my favorite wars so far!

PWOVE:
+ It was sweet.
+ Territories was totally awesome.
+ Mariocart made me giggle and poop little heart shaped cookies
+ Mickey D's run in the Badass/Ghetto car that broke
+ Colorful Dan, who horribly metamorphosed into Dirty Dan and then diddler Dan and his diddle cannon smashing the snot out of everyone ever.
+ All the new people!
+ Cheese Balls
+ Bustaboy showing up
+ Getting to use his gun which I have just dubbed "The Raspy Queef" because it made this horrible rasping sound whenever I primed it
+ Cheese Balls
+ My NF is pimpin' I like it more than my Splirtife.
+ Balled Cheese
+ Spherical Puffs of Cheddar
+ CHEESE
+ BALLS
+ OH GOD SO GOOD
+ I dunno
+ It was bro, bra
+ cheeseballs

- Splirtife kept losing barrels
- I don't have better primaries
- My ear itches

This was a triumph!
I'm making a note here GREAT SUCCESS

Great war, fantastic.  I legitimately feel the hours of effort for planning and logistics (i.e. making tons of crap) was a bargain for the return we got.

PROS
-Invaluable knowledge about real-world distances, set-ups, and mechanics for many gametypes.  I can promise as good or better gaming experience from this standpoint for, like, ever from now.
-Mobsticals friggin rocked.  Easy to set-up, easy to tear down, easy to transport, and made all the difference in game play and the ability to design an actual field of play.
-Bi-valves: the next evolutionary step in Nerf.  Discovered many kinks that can easily be solved with simple adhesive and screws, and having a full magazine and a primed blaster at the ready while loading another?   Awww  Yeaaaaaahhhh :D
-People were owning with AAbows, people were owning with blowguns, people were owning with every kind of homemade springer, and people were owning with near-stock pistols:  There is no arms race, only your style of play.
-19 people at max, half were guests or non-board members and every single person came to play and played hard.  I was hugely impressed by the level of engaged participation from start to finish of every round and every single person made a difference. Srsly, I tagged everyone and everyone tagged me at some point.
-Mario Kart!  I can’t believe how well that was received!
-Territories was great, I feel the several hours in my hot garage were worth it 100% and plan to make this a staple at wars I attend.
-legs very sore from running, arms sore is an odd combination of places from priming my UMB, hands sore from griping flags/markers/handles/snowmen/caps on hoppers, whole body fatigue (war hangover)…each one a badge of honor I had to work my ass off to earn J

I want to make a separate section to talk about the people there because one bullet does not do justice.
-Participation and enthusiasm in my crazy and un-proven game types was outstanding.  Thank you, I mean that.
-No one overly bitched or put up a fight when we had to move basecamps: the process took 10 min and we were playing again.  Awesome.
-Dart sweeps were effective, quick, and performed without hesitation upon request: this is being a good war participant and park patron.
-GREAT help with post-war clean-up.  We left that place about as clean as we reasonably could and we had shit ALL over.
-There is not one person I would not Nerf with again or gladly have at one of my wars.

Personal Accolades
-JudeWolf pulling off like 4 full hopper dumps into the core.
-Colin and his crazy running-you-downs, usually while unarmed.
-Terran for being an actual Elvin archer.
-Firggin Dirty Dan and his border-line supernatural accuracy.
-VelveetAvenger outrunning three guys WITH A SNOWMAN under his arms.  No lie!
-Kip avoiding fire effectively with break dancing.
-Kishimishimishimi for doing everything all the time constantly.
-Julian for Maximizing like a bitch.
-Jenna for the greatest flag hand-off ever: shot like 2 people after her THEN ran the flag in like a boss.
-ME for no less than 6 tags from 60’+ on running targets!  Loves me my UMB!
-VenZach for having no less than 4 hot babes waiting in his minivan after the war.

CON
-HAMP!!!  FFFFFFUUUUUUUU!!!!!!

That was an amazing war. I had a huge blast, and while it didn't have SPANO's attendance, it was still very awesome.

Pros
+Mario Kart
+Territories (AWESOME!)
+Dual opposite crisscross defend the core
+Capture the flag wasn't as uneven as SPANO
+Being able to stay the entire time
+Having no issues with rounds, even though I forgot a third of my equipment
+Not running out of total darts
+Having an amazing time with my SNAP-7 Microbow. That thing was so fun to use
+2-11 did decently, and was used well by people who used it
+Friends having a great time
+Getting to know some people better
+Cheeseballs

Cons
-In defend the pit, my darts were bouncing out of the core
-Magstrike rushes weren't as effective this time
-Running out of darts in dual opposite crisscross defend the core
-Some issues with spawns, either too far, or not enough
-It appeared that I was the only one capable of using my nerf guns (kept jamming for other people)

-Kanashimi

This was one of the better wars I have went to. I can only post some now, but from my memory.
- Both my RainbowPump and Snap broke.
+ Got to borrow a Pump-snap that I had sold, and did very well with.
+ Earned the nickname DirtyDan.
+ Got some video, but its shakey.
- Had video of Mariokart, but it got erased.
+ Mobsticles
-The pool for defend the core.
+ Mariokart was my favorite, need to do that again.
Hopefully I can come to the next one.
Also I will post the videos when I get home on Monday.

So, I gotta ask: what the hell is Mario Kart?
