NO ONE TELL HIM: I want it explained through pictures! Anyone have pics of the mariokart round? Or preparing for Mariokart?

I know venom sat out on that round to videotape the entire thing. Hopefully he'll post it up soon, looked like he got some good shots from what I saw.

+Not preparing at all for this war other than packing stuff up.
+Driving to a war solo for the first time.
+Having a decent amount of energy despite my exhausting trip.
+Dirty Dan, Colorful Dan, Rainbow Dan, diddler Dan. Awesome guy.
-Falling back onto poorly maintained and old blasters screwed me over. I'm already revamping my arsenal.
+Tons of people were just standing/sitting around to watch us play.
+SonReece buying me food.
+The knowledge I gained from this war is yet another step towards creating my ideal set of blasters.
+Calling a very disheveled sounding Julian.
+Julian showing up for a decent amount of the war after I harassed him over the phone.
-Planning on being late, but then being later than I had planned on.
+Meeting a ton of new people.
+Eating lunch with Kip, Erik, Derek, and KinkyFinky.
+Frightening small children and grown men alike with my National Geographic Roto Rocket.
+The guy who looked like CaptainSlug.
+Not having to worry about running the war whatsoever.
+The whole vibe of the war was pretty relaxed.
+Not playing any frustrating rounds.
+Julian's shorts ripping wide open around the crotch area. Fix? Duct Tape.

I'm up for other people hosting the next war, but I can just as easily host it myself. Late August seems like a likely time frame.

yeah ive been waiting to see if Venom (SonResse said not him likly) wanted to host another war at the park around the end of the month- if Not- Kanashimi and I were thinking of taking over the job just so we can have another war. we have enough people among our freinds(and guns) to hold a war with just all of us if no one from nerfhaven(everyone is invited anyway) wants to show up. Also a few of my freinds and I were on the hunt for a location that we could use during winter for a war. we will keep everyone updated on that if we find someplace.

Chill, AngelCakes Venom does a hell of a job editing and splicing and other A/V geek shit that is always worth the wait. Unless, VenCat, you had no videographic plans, then you can just go eat poo.

lol. Oh ive done all that shit before and I know how long it can take(ie: a while)- (took even longer for me because we were forced to use macs at the time....... ).

random question but do you know where I can get a cheap(as in not $80) dremmel? I want to make those titan fireflys but will need a dremmel for it as well as..... 10+ other projects.... and yes im aware how much ive droped on guns- and would be willing to drop more- however my work has been really slow the last 2 months so it dont pay so well right now...

you can get one for like $20-$30 at Kmart. They have a few cheap ones that are Dremel Brand.

↑ I like the bullet time when you got that shotgun blast in the pit, haha.

I don't have a video camera unfortunately, but I think I'm going to try and make something that can hold a video camera to a tree for the next war. It would be fun to have one or two filming the objectives to capture all the sweet rushes and flag grabs.

I love the money shot of me getting shot in the mouth. man that fricking hurt. I was thinking of some laptop/ webcam combo to record everything(at the next war) just my laptop has a crap battery.

The only thing about a tripod is I worry it's a bit to easy to run into and somebody will get their camera knocked over. However I do have one that I can bring if somebody wants to risk their camera on it.
