I'm still skeptical about your involvement with nerf.

Excuse me? I make like 2 nerf vids a week on youtubeland. I've probably done more mods then you.

Liar! You don't even use hoppers! ewwy!

Yeah Ice, I'm pretty sure Split wins. He has very high quality blasters. His homemades are superb.

He hardly mods at all, only homemades. There's nothing wrong with that, it's just not really what I'm into. And please don't clog the thread with un-related topics.

And Nate45, I got it from ebay.

I meant that he is good at homemades. Sorry, I wrote that incorrectly.

Saw this video a few days ago. Like I read in a few posts before. SGNerf already done this ages ago, so it's nothing new. Good work on making in standard measurements for the people who use that type of measuring units. I work off metric since I'm Australian.

However, just because you make 'two vids' a week. Very seldom are your modifications are original, they're just taken off other people and revamped so it makes it look like your work. I'm not trollin' either. It's just the truth.

Still, at least you still contribute to the Nerfing society which is what people rarely do even though they're trolling you. It's picture heavy and very clear :). Keep the good work.

Ice has done some of the best mods I've seen, hes the one who introduced me to modding.

That's funny, I don't remember making a claim to originality.... I just say I mod... a lot.

..... okay I admit it. Ice and Zack Scott introduced me to modding. Ice's blasters looked pretty cool, so, naturally, I tried modding.

On topic; the last time I used brass, the brass' sizing was a bit off, so my breech didn't work very well. I may have had two different brands, because I got some on Amazon and some at Whistle Stop Hobby store. I'm sure someone else has had this happen before.

Weren't you the one who did the furyfire mod which was nothing original?

This is awesome, thanks Ice. The one time I tried to make an angel breach that accepted streamlines, it failed. Good to have measurements for this.

Edit: Eliminated a redundant question.

Who gives a shit if it's entirely original? We didn't have a writeup for one before, so it's a useful document. Discussing the mod, rather than its lineage, would be more productive use of this thread.

Just one more reason I wish somewhere near me sold brass. Good job and nice idea. If I ever find brass I will have to do this.

you can order it from amazon you know, search for the size and you can buy like 1 foot of it

I am now making a BB for my LS. I am using SG Nerf's measurements, which can be found at SGNerf.

For the barrel I use the 18/32 brass (or 9/16), and for the breech that goes into the bolt sled, then 19/32 brass.

For the dart pusher that is inside the 19/32 brass, some thick walled PETG that is one size smaller than the 1/2 PETG, (I'll measure it later and post again) and it is secured (pressure fit) into the 19/32 with e-tape. There is enough gap for the 18/32 to slide nicely between the PETG and 19/32 brass. As the PETG is thicker, some of the dead space along the plunger tube is eliminated, but no so much that it becomes an air-restrictor.

And I use goop for everything.

I use an 8 kg (17.6 lb) spring + stock spring. And it can hit 33 (100 ft) metres with stefans no problem.

Nothing new here except that I am using PETG for the pusher.
