Hoping to get a modification into the dictionary, here goes. One day, I was thinking about longshots and how nerf modders replace the breech to achieve a better air seal and many other mods are also done. When I was thinking, I thought about a raider and how nobody likes it. However, nerf modders like the drum due to its 35 shots. To achieve a really good rate of fire and really good ranges (from nerf guns...not homemade), you would theoretically need a longshot and a raider coming to a budget of about 60$. I personally hate spending money so I wanted to get mad power out of a raider. Because of that, I present to you: The Ultimate Raider.

1. Unscrew your gun:

2. Remove your air restrictors which is fairly basic.

3. You can now build this breech:

4. Now, you can use streamlines or use a stefan modded drum.

Thank You

(I cannot test ranges right now for many, various reasons)

That will increase the ranges but it will not get longshot ranges.

True, because of the reversed plunger but, I prefer 35 shots at 80 feet than 6 shots at 100

If you put a drum in the longshot you would be getting 35 shots at 100 feet

Plus I doubt that you could even get 80 with just that breech.

First, you can add springs, power stock, lots of different things to achieve 80 ft.

Also, putting a drum in a longshot makes the cost go up by 30$ just for a drum.

Have you completed these modifications at this point? I'd really love to see a video of this shooting 80 ft.

Hey...I got a crazy idea: how about you stop all that sigging stuff? It's not even my thread and it annoys me.

I don't believe you've actually made this. I think you just drew something up in paint.

You're 12 aren't you?

But on topic, I like this. Still kinda iffy if it works good but I will probably do it whenever I feel like opening my raider again. But, how good do darts feed with this breech?

Where's the "stock plastic" on the breech portion supposed to go when the breech is closed... didn't think about that, did you?

So the breech is air-tight or so you think it is. So what plenty of people have gotten seals like this. The only way a Raider could get 80 feet is with a Powerstock, A streched RFSG spring, No air restrictors, and a wonderful breech. Oh and an insanely strong cache spring

I thought stretching springs was a no-no...

What the fuck?

A "borrowed" picture and a theoretical picture drawn in paint? Yeah, great writeup.

If this makes it all the way to the directory then my Twinsanity should go to some sort of "Hall of Fame," at least my picture was my own and it was of the actual mod, and, of course, the Doomsayer writeup should go all the way to being printed and sold in bookstores near YOU!

EDIT: For reference, this is the Twinsanity:

Been there, done that. It really isn't worth it at all because the raider simply does not have enough plunger volume to do anything useful. The slamfire is cool, but you're hitting 60-70' tops, even with plunger reinforcements and a power stock.
