Did anyone else notice that the pics are backwards?
Here is proof:

Hate to state the obvious, but there are always people who won't pick up on it: The pictures in this thread are mirrored, just an FYI to anyone making plans based on these pictures.

Its obvious after looking at the man's shirt, but to those who just homed in on the gun it might not be. I got momentarily psyched up because i saw his longshot and thought they had released a left friendly LS. My hopes are dashed.

Why so serious?

I feel kind of sorry for that gun. It's been dry fired excessively.

...but it's stock, the air restrictor is still in place.

It's like a Nerfy STEN.

This thing looks like it has some potential. It appears to be a beefed up recon that looks way cooler! If this gun can be Angel breach it might actually be pretty good.

Bet its just sideways LS internals...Can't wait for internal pictures

Hey Moron, did you watch or read ANYTHING before you posted?

Yeah I did, the post doesn't say ANYTHING about the internals and in the video there is no 100% proof of a reverse plunger. And don't call me a moron.
Did you read this?

@Wisp: He says it's more like a Longshot than a recon and there is no turning needed.

Cool, I'm no longer banned. It does have an inverse plunger. I have it disassembled at the moment, pics will be coming soon. There is almost no way to add springs, not even in the recon's stock way, because the metal bar the primes it is actually very easily bent...

Nice job getting your hands on it.
How does the mag feel in an LS/recon? Awkward?

Can the metal bar be somehow reinforced or replaced with something stronger?

And yes, it does use an inverse plunger.

It's re-assembeled at the moment, and with no ar's, I have it hitting over 30 feet easy with 3" single BB stefans.

Well now that it's modded, stop dry-firing it. I don't know if you planned to, but it seems like a habit of yours.

Very cool, the ROF is amazing. Reloading must be a pain, I can't wait to put that stock on my recon!
I'm sure you could just repace the metal bar for more springs.

Looks like a GREAT gun. Definetly gonna try to get like 2 or three for the mag and the comfy gun capabilities. Thanks to ice for taking a shot to the wallet for our previewing, nerdgasming, pleasure.

I believe in his video he said it takes about 1 and a half minutes. Not all that bad for 35 darts if you ask me.

Ice nice job with the purchase. I have a couple questions:
1. Is it annoying to open up?
2. When you do open it up does everything just fall out?
3. From what I can see the internals look like a sideways Recon, is this true?
4. Would you be able to use a modded stock from a Recon?

Ice, you have surpassed at least my expectations. This looks Effeminate, and should have some major ownage capabilities indoors.

Sigh, just another recon.

Oh well. I'll still get it for the drum mag. I'll also probably bring the gun along with me to wars in case I'm in an extra "rushy" mood.

Er, this does seal the deal on the Raider for me. I'm likely, now, to get one for my indoor warfare, and possibly for the magazine in a complete overhaul of a Longshot I'm planning.

35 is a big number.

1. Surprisingly, no.

2. No, it stays together quite well, as long as you don't force it open.

3. In many respects. The bolt sled is much larger, and it is primed through the metal bar though.

4. Yes, but the metal bar would bend if not reinfrced...

I am going to have to buy this mostly for the clip. I was expecting a recon-like gun because of the similarities in the trigger and the stock release. Even the internals look similar.

It apears to be a recon with somewhat better ranges, rapidfire, and a drum mag. Not a bad deal, considering it will most likely cost $35, 15 more than the recon. I'm going to have to get one (or two).

Think of the raider as an upgraded recon.

Edit: assuming you reinforced the bar, would you be able to do the recon stock mod with the raider's stock?

Yes, and I plan on doing so sometime this week, as well as slapping some paint on it as soon as the vinyl dye I ordered from split arrives. For all those attending, this will be brought to, and used at, Vaccs war, Deal.

So how do you plan on reinforcing the bar? Is there enough room for a bent sheet of heavy gauge aluminum ~1/2" wide?

fallinouttadabox (intentionally lowercase): sometimes you want to be somewhere between thinking in the box and thinking out of the box. Trust me, I would know.

Is the stocks for the recon and the raider interchangable? I didn't see anyone ask, but im running on 2 hours of sleep from like 20 hours ago. If someone already asked ignore this post.

Edit: Damn, I knew i should have checked for a video first.
Also, YES! I love being left handed! The getting in my way was my main consern with the clip.
