So if you guy's haven't heard about this war type, it's pretty awesome. I'll probably be expanding upon the ruleset as time goes on, and I'm sure it will vary greatly from the Cinci guys'.
The main idea is that you bring a New in box blaster and tools, and at the start of the war, you mod the gun on site, then use that for the whole of the day. It's like a modification competition and nerf war all wrapped up in one. Credit for the idea for this war goes entirely to the guys in Cincinnati, Twitch and Bobafan in particular. It's their game type - I just modified the rules a bit.

Location: Mill Creek Park, Ocean County, NJ
Time: Starts at 10:00 AM, Ends around dusk, likely around 6 o'clock. Get there early! The sooner we have enough people, the sooner we can start the mod. If you come late, you have less time to mod!
Directions: Google Maps *Updated*
If you need any help finding the place, and/or are prone to getting lost, PM me, and I will provide my cell number just in case.
Rules:
I expect everyone to know how this works for the most part by the time we get there. I will, of course, be available to clarify anything.
The game type:
* Bring at least one New in box blaster. You're allowed to bring multiples and sets, even encouraged.
* NIB blaster means sealed. Not cut open and re-taped - factory sealed. No "mint in box" examples.
** If it's something like a big blast, where it has the missiles accessible and separate, and (for example) the missiles are missing, you're allowed to use it. Make sure to check with me if there is any question.
* Bring darts before hand. Stock darts or stefans, whatever you choose. I'm not going to limit this to stock darts because of cost, and partly effectiveness.
* I will be experimenting at home with the amounts of time to allow for modifying. I am leaning towards 1.5 hours, but we'll see as the date approaches.
* Bring barrel material, precut if you'd like. All extra modding materials, such as epoxy puddy and the like, do not have to be NIB.
* We will all start modding at the same time, and I will use a timer to keep track. If you are late, you start late, and do not get extra time.
* Round rules will be pretty much typical. Mostly 3:15, with some 4:20 thrown in. We may switch between 2-4 teams, as well as different ways of picking teams.
** Depending on how the mods turn out, we may be able to play from gunslinger, or limited ammo rounds. Don't plan for CTF, but a VIP round is possible.
* You are allowed to bring "precut" portions of material (such as polycarbonate or aluminum), though it is not encouraged. When bringing materials for your mods, the materials should not already be modded. For example, if I were modding a NIB Crossbow, I could bring the materials for a replacement plunger tube and coupler, but I can not bring a finished replacement plunger tube. This rule is where most of the grey area is for this game type, so keep in mind that my calls on this matter are final.
** A disassembled +bow is not NIB. Even if you bring a NIB blaster, you can not use the +bow, because as a blaster, it was not NIB.
Gun rules:
* No Titans. You can bring Unity Sets, but you're not allowed to use the titan from it. Everything else, including RFDG's should be crippled enough by the modding rules. This is mainly a safety hazard, because it takes me about 10 minutes to single and beef up a titan, and I can't think of any other blasters like that.
* Do not plug the pumps on any (air powered, obviously) blasters that originally shoot anything bigger than a mega dart. Also, no tank expansions on any air guns of that caliber.
* No HPA/CO2 tank mods.
* I'm allowing converted "paintball guns" if they're spring powered, such as the Pistol and Thundersplat.
Tools:
* There will be no electrical outlets available for things like hot glue guns. At most, very small flames are allowed. I'd recommend matches or similar for hot glue. Butane torches are extremely erotic - if you have something else you can use, use it. Epoxy will likely be a good friend.
* I'm going to allow cordless power tools. I feel it gives an extra level to the potential mods. You'll want to make sure the batteries are all fully charged; bring extras. This includes power drills and Dremels.
** I doubt this will be a problem, but I'd like all power sources to be non-AC. That basically means don't bring power generators or things that power electrical outlets.
* Please, no overly dangerous tools. Jig tables (upside down jig saws, typically mounted to a piece of wood) even if cordless, are very dangerous. I also don't want anyone bringing circular saws for whatever reason.
* If you're under 18, I want you to have safety protection. Gloves, glasses at the minimum. No loose clothing, dangling chains or whatever. Just trying to cover all of the bases, but I'd prefer this go off with out any injuries. Safety is top priority.
* Aerosol lubricants are allowed, as well as adhesives with solvents (goop, etc.). There is no reason to bring spray paint or vinyl dye. Please don't.
* Bring all of your own tools. You probably won't want to share in the middle of modding anyway. If anyone really doesn't have any tools, I may be able to provide a basic set. I will have a cordless drill to pass around, but you're still encouraged to bring your own.
* You'll probably want marking tools as well, such as sharpies and pencils.
** A quick list of recommended items to bring:
Tools - Utility knife, screwdrivers, pliars, speed square/ruler, mini hacksaw, wrenches, pipe cutters
Adhesives - Superglue, epoxy/epoxy puddy, electrical tape, lubricant, raw hot glue sticks if needed
Materials - Barrel material (brass, petg cpvc), o-rings?, replacement springs, etc.
Formalities:
* Bring water. It'll be the middle of July in New Jersey humidity. There will also be a break for lunch per normal.
* Bring your own guns, ammo, and tools. If you think you will need something, don’t hope that others will bring it.
* Eye protection is going to be required for those under 18.
* If we have enough people who bring either extra NIB blasters, or just bring pre-modified blasters, we could do a second round of modding, or just rounds with already modded blasters, if the attendees wanted to.
* We'll be meeting, setting up, and modding in the main pavilion at the park.

I think this game type has a lot of potential! Depending on when Valhalla 2 is, this may be the first time it will be tried. Let's make it happen!
