Seijin, we've got things covered.

We've been hitting high30's-mid40's consistently in attendance for about six months now. I've got locations in the works.

And if Spoon's not coming to our wars because we have such high attendance levels...he is now and forever a pussy.

He wouldn't have us calling him that. I'm sure he has good reasons for not making it. But he WILL be at Geddon this year, and we're NOT going to be sending anyone off with the kiddies. Organizing a group this large isn't nearly as hard as it looks. Just takes some practice, and I'm used to it now, as is Bags.

Greg, I think Josh is talking about the AGE of the Freaking Really Wee ones (which honestly I'm not a fan of either... but they're being supervised by participating parents... so it's not to bad).

If I hear any complaints From ANYONE about picking Teams taking too long... I'm a gonna fucking convert one of my custom painted nerfballs into a gag ball and choke a bitch. Any time attendance exceeds 30, and there's 10+ new people means picking teams takes longer...people need to deal with that.

See, we don't have a problem with team picking procedure, It's just people are too impatient and stupid to sit still and speed the process along. At Lano, they were all over the place. They were a lot of new people though as far as I know.

the colored duct tape did work really well. A strip on the back and one of the front made it really easy to tell who to shoot at and who was on your team. I have already have about 13 different coors of tape, if you want me to bring them to use it woud be no problem. It can be a bit costly to purchase a bunch of different color rolls at 4 bucks a pop. I'd be more then happy to contribute that to the cause.

I get the feeling you don't know what we're talking about.

PICKING teams is what has a tendency to take a long time. We already have a very efficient means for marking teams, which doesn't leave sticky crap on our shirts/peel off screenprinting. And Bob, picking teams with a deck of cards might be expedient, but then the teams can end up unbalanced between new and experienced players, and the newer players get stomped, which means everyone isn't having as much fun as they could have. My job is to cater to the crowd.

I need this to stay on topic, so if any of you, for some reason, think that I can't handle organizing this war, I'd ask that you PM me about it, and keep it out of the thread. We have a system and it works. If you have a problem with there being some younger players at our events, you again need to restrict it to PMs. It's perfectly alright to restrict membership on the forums for post quality control reasons, but our younger players are what are going to keep the sport going, so it's something you're going to have to deal with. They understand the rules, and they don't cry when they get hit, so you shouldn't worry about it.

I'm housing Carbon and Ryan(numbers) at my place. I can house you, but I think a few of the other east coasters would like to exercise their old contacts for housing. In the interest of you being able to stay at a place with people you know, which you'd probably feel more comfortable with, talk to some of them, find out what their plans are, and see if you can hop in with them.

Holy important update double-post, Batman!

The location address has been released. I have confirmation from the principal of our beloved Sellers Elementary School that the additional portables currently stationed there will be present through July, which includes the storage bins next to them, for those who have played there recently. In addition, the extra fences have been taken down, so we are now free to roam as we were before. I will be bringing cones to mark off boundaries on the asphalt, and there will be immobile trash cans to help break up the open areas a little bit.
