Well, after seeing CaptainSlug's MASS project it inspired me to create this.

materials:
Hortnet
Dremel sanding wheel
Vacuum
6 pvc endcaps
9" of pvc
Jb weld two part epoxy

Ok here we go

1 Open up your hornet and take a good look at the intimidating internals.

Posted Image

2 take a sanding wheel and move it in a up and down motion on every blast chamber until theres a 3/4" hole in them.

Posted Image
Posted Image

3 now cut 6 1.5 inch segments of pvc.

Posted Image

4 smother one end of it in pvc cement and slap a cap on eveyone of them.

Posted Image

5 once your done with that take your sanding wheel and round the end of your pvc segments to match the curve of the blast chambers.

Posted Image

6 Now take your epoxy and litely dip the rounded end of pvc into the epoxy and stick it on a last chamber

Posted Image

7 Do step 6 to all the cambers and cut the shell so theres room for the extensions and your done.
you get props if you dont get frustrated during this mod

Any leaking. Hornet Air tanks are really sensitive. I would be vary uncommon for there to be no leaks??

In disassembling my Hornet I've found that the standalone-boxed Hornet's barrels are glued on pretty hardcore. The best way to remove them is to cut right at then end of white airtank pieces, gently pull off the plastic mess protecting the airtank, and rebarrel from there.

Thats a pretty clean mod you have there, if you have the patience try doing what ompa did to his hornet (write-up in directory) and let us know the ranges, also what size pvc did you use? I'm asuming 1/2" but I've only seen hornet internals once and I forget how big or small the tanks are in case you used a different size.

Maybe I'm a total nub, but what exactly did u just do? Did you expand the air tanks to get more air behind the dart? Regardless, it looks surprisingly clean from the outside. Good job on that.

I really like this mod. I think it makes your Hornet look pretty badass. I think I may have to do this to mine ;) . I'd love to see it with some new paint.

Mrbadwrench- did you replace the hornets blast chambers with ones from big salvos

salindin_naz- I thought that too. I was thinking paint everything that was blue black and everything Grey green and call it the wasp.

thanks everyone for the complements

Nice mod Nat. Secondly, how long did it take you to sand the tank's wall down?
