i just modded my two Splitfires and there crazy.i copper bareled them and made holsters for them ...awsome!
i am going to mod my airtech 4k(i dont want to buy petg so i might just pull the pegs) is this ok?

You're asking the wrong guy. I suppose you could pull the pegs and plug the release valve. I did that and replaced the barrels on my 2k and it worked like a charm.

On another note, I'll be adding another gun to my arsenal for the war - the MaxShot.

Blink, you cant just "pull out the pegs", although I wish it were true. The only way That has worked for me it to take a drill bit the size of the barrel, and drill it out. it may take awhile though, and be sure not to damage the valve, rotating mechanism, or the hole the air goes through.

If the 4k's anything like the 2k, you should also take the barrels off, and pull out all the stupid air restrictors behind them, then put them back on. You shouldn't have to dissasemble the gun or mess with the rotating mechanism to do this. then again, this is basred on the assumption that the 4k's barrels are like the 2k's. Someone who's done this on a 4k wanna explain better?

I dont know about that because i dont want to buy PETG...to hard to get. So i think i will just disemble the gun pull the restricters and drill the pegs out and maby add a stock. Sounds good?

1. No need for a stock, just rest he back part on your shoulder, its pretty comfy..
2. Its nothing like a 2k...The barrels just dont come out, you have to drill out the air restrictors, and sand the insde of the barrels down.

Wow, this thread went from War to 4K modifications. So, while we are on the topic, Spectre broke my already broken Ln'L. The problem lies in the cocking arm. I drilled a hole in it to thread a keyring through, and it worked for 10 shots, then broke... Janga helped me with it, but has anyone gone through this? If so, help please... or else I won't have a sidearm, and that means more pain for you people at the war... think about that.

Yes, 20 ft at least. I don't want to give you a good dodging advantage or anything but that is a saving grace for any of you. I shot Mike with 4 pumps and he was writhing in pain, for long time... a really long time.

My Ln'L needs help... and guys, the coathanger repair didn't work. I am seriously pissed off, I payed good money for this thing, and it got broken with normal use.

What exactly is wrong with the LNL? My LNL shoots 71 feet flat from 5 feet up with the mod I posted in the mods section of this forum. I know you said the barrel is too long, but it's that long 'cause it's a breech. I strongly suggest you do my mod.

Whats wrong with it? I broke the cocking arm with tension, just a knick off of it. I then repaired it by drilling a hole and putting and threading my keyring through. Enter Spectre... cocking arm fully breaks.

My Ln'L got that range, maybe a little less because the brass was loose. I have nothing against your mod... just I didn't think you needed that long of a barrel. I've already done my mod, irreverseable... so I can't try yours.

Oh thank god, tell me what gun its from, please! I can tell you whether or not it will fit just by which gun it is for. You are the coolest guy in the world if it works. Will I have to pay? And if so... how much are you asking, I would say maybe $2 for the thing, if that. If you wanna be a big help... for free?! Or maybe I could give you a gun part that you need, I don't know.

Yes, the saving grace will help a few... you slow ones seriously can't dodge this though, I'm thinking darts fly at 70'/s atleast. With a good dart, you can't see it until you pull it out of the wall or where ever you shot it.

Blink, pain for pleasure... to a certain extent. I'm sure we all like to feel the pain and then get that little dopamein (sp) rush, but this thing may hurt like you want to rip your skin off.

I have so many goddamn secret shot 1 peices I'll give a cocking lever from one of them if you think it'll fit. I"ll compare the size of it to my pictures of the breeched LNL, to see if it's close.

Chrysler, couldn't you just stick the cocking arm into your Ln'L's plunger tube instead of trying to compare pictures? Well, what ever works for you, I appriciate all of this.

That's not a problem at all, I didn't know what was up. I have no original springs in my Ln'L, I actually had them (catch and trigger) but the catch flew away, and the trigger spring went for a vacation behind my work bench aswell. I have substituted them both with a pen spring and a RB catch spring, and it works beautifully... or it did.

I am now starting to get worried. The snow has receeded a little bit, but every morning is freezes, and every day after school it melts... then freezes. I have no idea when a really warm day will come and stay to melt this crap off of my lawn... and off of our field.

25 days until the MMNO. Are you ready for some pain?
