Now, we need to talk about parents. Whose parent's are generally uncomfortbale with this whol war thing? Whose parent's wish to talk to me or Mike? And finally, I am writting a letter to the parents, that will be alot more adult and will explain things to them.

Does anyone think they will need something like a letter to show their parents?

Erm, that's pretty damn biased unless you would say the same about straight couples. It's perfectly fine not to want to watch people make out, but if you only want one group of people to not kiss in public, that's kinda mean.

Okay, we really need to get back on topic. A friendly debate is okay, but this is going too far. Keep your comments to yourself everyone. We all have a right to express our opinions on a topic, but this thread is not the place. I let it go because I thought it would be constructive, and because me and Mike sort of started this all when we first joked around in this thread. I apologize to anyone it offended, but please, don't insult people for what the are, we are all the same inside. Unless of course a certain group of people have different organs and such... we won't get into that, will we, Mike?

Yes, so, the war looks great. Updates on the actual day of the war will be made soon, it will be a Saturday though, its just a matter of the Saturday before the break or the Saturday during the break. With this in mind, it will either be the 13th or the 20th. So, whos good for what Saturday?

I felt the need to comment.

The fact that you say they have a brain problem is quite offensive. It's not proper to generalize things like that. Homosexuals either grow up in an environment that promotes their behaviour, or they are born with a different mind. This is not a brain problem or disorder. You're young mind can't fully understand that yet.

I really want to get off of the subject.

I would like to draw attention to this post, read it all if you are attending MMNO.

Now, I've been busy all weekend, and Mike and Vince know why. We had an indoor war with our guns, and fuck... it was interesting. We had 5 darts, and we had to share them. When we did shoot, it was fun, and it hurt. The reason I bring this up is... the letter to parents is not done at this time.

I have been writing up my Resume aswell this weekend, and that is all the wordprocessing I can handle for a day. So, in conclusion, the letter won't be done until Tuesday.

Some things to address...

Blink_182, are you most definatly coming? Your post seems controversial, and I can't quite make out what you mean by it. Are your parents letting you attend, but are skeptical, or what? Let me know. (I love blink 182... favourite song is Stockholm Syndrome)

Yes, now darts. 1/2 and 1/2 will not be attending, so his order of 150 darts will be neglected. The only other order is from Nazgul_Lord. I will not disclose the order or price. I would like to know if there are any other orders. Mike has yet to pick up my FBR... it will arrive soon, I promise you all.

Headcounts. This is important for legal purposes. I want everyone who is coming to post, and to say 'I am attending the MMNO (Meadowvale Mississauga Nerf Out)' I would then like you to list who you will be bringing along, and if you will be carpooling. Please follow the format given below:

Now, I need those posted soon. I don't know where Mike is, so I will be taking questions and reviewing your posts now. I really need to know who is coming, and how many. We need to tell the police the size of our party, and they need to know that we are Nerfing in general.

I have a concern with parents right now. I hope none of you are lying when you say your parents are cool with this, because I need to know. They can e-mail either me or Mike at stonedsquirrelz@hotmail.com (ME) or spectre2689@sympatico.ca (MIKE) if they have ANY questions or concerns. I may seem like I'm being quite the woman right now, but this crap is important for the war. Sorry to bitch, but we need the info, even though we have asked for it before.

Now, just out of curiosity, who is packing what? We all know what I have... and I'll be bringing a Lock n' Load aswell for a good sidearm. Mike is packing a SM1.5k and a Blastfire, heavily modified... everyong has seen that picture. He may also be accompanied by his NiteFinder when he gets it in the mail.

What does everyone else have? Old guns, legends, new guns? What? Me and Mike both have two friends nw to Nerf that will be signing onto this war, and they will be using their own guns... it will be fun to help them make monsters.

No one has really asked about Homemades, and I'm glad. These will be outlawed. I really don't want PVC blowing up, or any of it hitting me. Plus, those things kill... I know, I have made a few myself. If you need to know any specific details on what is allowed, post in this topic... obviously.

Onto darts.

Darts. Who will be using what? I use micros, as does everyone else I know. Who wil be using megas? That isn't the big concern... weights are. I will be making certain ammo types and weights illegal to use in combat. Nails and screws being the big debate. No nail or screw weighted Stefans will be allowed. I have experimented, and nails and screws are unsafe. I would also like to address glue domes, and how sharp and large they are. I would like to point out that glue hurts, and I would like to minimize welts and bruises. If you are making your own darts, and not me helping you out, make sure there is foam on the tip, not all glue. Like, make the dome more centered so that there is a foam ring around the tip. Other than that, everything is allowed.

Eye protection is so big now in wars, and I still need to stress it. Wear something hard to shield your eyes. I will be wearing rubber goggles, not made of latex condom material, I can assure you(can't see through it quite as well). Like I said before, I will be testing out your eye protection.

War date. Which Saturday? Nazgul_Lord said Saturday was good for him, but which one man? I need to know, 13th or 20th of March. Thank you all. You will include which Saturday is best in your post as indicated above. Sorry to seem controlling, but it's for organizational purposes, and so that I don't need to read relatively useless bullcrap to get a straight answer.

That about rounds up the post... does Mike have anything to add to that? (I bet not). Sorry for nagging and bitching... I had to. Letters to parents will be availible on Tuesday.

I'm going to hope against hope that you meant PM and not AM...

And I think blowpipes, however ineffective at the ranges we'll likely be playing at, would be allowed. Unless you have lungs the size of gas tanks, they can't really be that dangerous.

Wow, check the difference in armories from the West Coast. You can't look at a picture in one of the NH galleries without seeing a Max Shot, AT2k, or an AT3k. Yet none in Canada use 'em.
