Personally, I'm a F.E.A.R. single player kind of guy. Craziest game ever conceived.

Same here. Also, if you can get your hands on it, Resistance 2. One of the best FPS games ever, following Gears of War 2, and F.E.A.R., respectively.

Nerf N-Strike

So it's a good game?

By itself, it's fairly good. But as a Nerf game, it's SICK! Physics in it are extremely realistic, it is somewhat difficult, and it has a big variety of game modes. You can do a whole bunch of multiplayer. I'm trying to get a review out, but school is a bitch, so it could take a week or so.

Edit: Shut up splitlip, those games were awesome. How was Star Fox Assault bad?

Realistic physics? As in, darts only travel about 30 feet (which is generous for many of the game's blasters, but they have to propogandize it a bit, right?)? And how exactly does the multiplayer work?

I agree on StarFox Assault, I never really understood the hate against it. It's not my favorite game ever, and it was my first exposure to the StarFox games, but it wasn't horrible by any means.

Its a good game, but the big Star Fox fans just want the Spaceship flying/shooting, since that was all the older games were.

And to contribute to the topic, my favorite game ever is Phantasy Star Online Episodes I & II for the gamecube. over many years I've gotten over 2000 hours of play out of it, and its still fun.

I actually have never played any of those games. Yes, I have never played Halo 1 or 2 or Gears. I had played Halo 3 one time for like 3 minutes then left. I might try those games out one day...

Gears of War. Hands down. I have replayed it so many times now I know it off by heart. Also the multiplayer, ooohhhhh the multiplayer, It's awsome on a stick. I would have to go with Father of Nerf on this one Gears and Gears 2 own. I also really like Left 4 Dead which is coming out soon!

Cant someone please explain to me why these games are so good, such as Halo, Gears of war, and COD4. I have never played those kinds of games, the only game closet to that for me would James Bond.

I can't play these kind of games anyway because I don't have a X-box 360, and I dont feel the need to go out and buy one for 200 dollars.

I'm wondering about this game...do you directly control the player's movement (like with the nunchuk's analog stick) or is it like an arcade game where you move automatically and just have to aim/shoot and reload as enemies appear?

My personal favorite game would be either Super Metroid (for the SNES) or Star Fox 64 (for the N64). I like Star Fox 64 because of the level of difficulty: hard enough to make a challenge, but not so hard as to make you want to break your controller in half. I like Super Metroid because of the story, the awesome items, and the bosses. I especially love the last boss because you think... never mind, I won't spoil it for you. Just know that it's awesome.
