videos are a must, at least someone thought to bring one.

Yeah I am working on it. I finished editing it, I just need to get it to upload on youtube. Expect it in a day or two. I thought that a lot of other people were going to bring video cameras too, then I was the only one. I would have probably came for the whole thing, if I had known that I was going to be the only one.

That is a GREAT turnout. I miss smaller wars, to some extent. Armageddon's freaking huge, and as of late, YANOs have been pretty pathetic, save for the last one. Your turnout that day was perfect, and there was a huge variety of people. Not to mention how freaking awesome that location is. That playground is Effeminate!

Someday, Bags and I'll be there, and we're gonna party hard. You guys KNOW how to put on a war.

I'll will gladly put you guys up anytime time you want to come. Seriously, if you guys fly/drive here I will give you beds (at the very least nice cots or air mattresses) and food.

It would be awesome if we could get you guys to come out here. At dinner after the war we were talking about actually coming down there for a war sometime next summer hopefully.

The turnout was great, but like Sam said, we need to cut down the time in between rounds. Too many people were dicking around while we were trying to organize the next round.

Sounds like you guys had a blast. I hope my war this weekend (with at least as much snow) goes just as well. I'm still hoping to be able to NERF with you guys at the end of the summer (Sam and I have talked about it a bit); I'll be driving from DC to somewhere in the Rockies last week of August/first week of September, and it would be great to be able to make a NERF stop in the midwest...we'll see. It's also good to see Carrtoon posting, even if it is just a little bit. Anyway, here's hoping I get to NERF with you guys again some time.

This is a problem with most wars. The simplest solution (which no one seems to grasp strangely enough) is to have a plan. Whoever is organizing the war has to know what they want to do next at all times. This way after a round is over you can present the participants with a small and predefined set of options, make teams (having an idea of the team breakdown before the end of each round is helpful as well) get ammo and start nerfing again. Giving the nerfers there too many choices generally leads to waffling, and not of the delicious maple syrupey kind.

Way to make me sad for missing out on what sounded like the best war ever. Damn. Well, summer can't come soon enough. I can't wait to bust out some new weaponry and a completely off season LS.

I was looking forward to this war only to show off my Christmas Longshot and then appendicitis had to kill it.

Expect me to come to any subsequent wars fully ready.

For my 100th post and exactly one week after the war, I thought I would post my full review of the war.

Pros
-Not freezing to death
-Using some of Carrtoons guns
-Getting to shoot a crossbow
-Making the the flag impossible to get because of my RF20
-Ganging up on Messiah with all the vets
-The assassination game
-Finding out which guns work the best in actual wars
-Watching Messiah be completely ridiculous
-Seeing Messiah completely waist a full RF20 turret
-Not getting shot very many times

Cons
-Getting shot between rounds
-Getting shot in the thigh from probably a crossbow or pump-shotgun from like 20-30 feet away
-My sister complaining the whole time
-Stepping through the ice, luckily my feet didn't get that cold.
-All of my stefans' tips getting destroyed
-Nearly slipping on ice a few times
-Trying to use my completely cumbersome titan
-Not having a very solid primary
-Having to fight the vets with other non-vets
-Getting hit by surprise from the bell tower
-Not being able to tell who was on my team or not very easily (we should get some flagging tape next time)
-Constantly loading two darts into my NF by accident
-The snow and cold

We should start planning the next war. I was thinking maybe we would have another spring one, like in late April or May, or whenever the snow melts and it gets warm. Of course the regular SPANO/NO SPAM during the summer like usual.

We should start planning the next war. I was thinking maybe we would have another spring one, like in late April or May, or whenever the snow melts and it gets warm. Of course the regular SPANO/NO SPAM during the summer like usual.

Hell yeah, I can not wait for the next war! Next time, Hilt, please make sure it won't get freezing on us. Luckily I did bring my jacket... =)

School ends for me on May 14th, but I fly to Costa Rica on the 15th for a service trip till the end of may. You guys are free to have one before then. I think I might be able to host one the the first weekend in June, I'll have to do some further investigating in my schedule.

Early June would be awesome. Then maybe another in August. I don't care. As long as it is not in April or on June 14-21. Anything in between there I will be able to make.

It's a cheap trip for me, and I don't mind the drive so I could make it for 2 wars if you wanted to do that.

Keep in mind we should have a weekend where Carbon can come up, because I know he wants to go really bad.

I think we should shoot for June 7th.

It sucks, my parents want to have my sister's graduation party on the 7th. They haven't really finalized anything about it yet, so there is a chance they might have it another time. I could see having one like the last weekend april, i know that not everyone would come, but it would be nice to have a war before the "big" summer war. I could mabye even host it, at the usual place.

Turns out June 7th isn't as good of a date as I originally thought for me. I can still do it, but other weekends would probably be just as good for me. All that said, I think we should do the 7th since it works for Ryan.

Venom, feel free to have one before that. It should help get the noobs up to speed.
