Don't want to shove balls in tight spaces. Trust me, bad idea.

For sale: Vintage WWII French rifles. Dropped once, never fired.

It looks like brassing this thing will be quite expensive. It will be interesting to see if beefing up the voltage will help; maybe a better motor if applicable.

On the box. To the right and down from the guys nose, there is an orange thing. What is it? It looks like a shell from the gun or a bolt from the LS.

Looks like a charging handle to load the belt.
We should stop calling out/making fun of/pissing GC off. He's actually contributed and is available for trade. He's a better than average member no doubt. Got your back Cole.

This toy looks badass. Man. If they had been releasing Nerf guns this awesome ten, twelve years ago, I would have been a really happy 11 year old.

I remember playing with the Cyber Strike Gear, Max Force and all those. The best we had was the Airjet Power line (for the few uses they had before blowing the air bladders) with the Wildfire and Powerclip. Also the Hypersights with the BBB and the LNL. Now we have the equivalents of the old guns as well as all these other awesome toys when, back then, the shelves were populated sparsely with the good toys but had plenty of Electric Eels, Razor Fins, Stinging Scorpions, and the rest.

Nerf wars would have been so ridiculously fun with an arsenal of Magstrikes, Recons, Mavericks, NFs, N-Strikes, Longshots, and now the Vulcan. I envy you 9-14 year olds who have a regular Nerfing crew. You guys have it made.

This might be a false alarm, but my little sister apparently saw a commercial for it. She didn't actually see the gun that well, and isn't the most reliable source, but she said it had a tripod stand , was yellow and orange, was rapid fire, and said coming soon.

I've never seen Hasbro run commercials for guns that aren't out yet (I still have not seen a recon one), but I also have not seen them get an american gladiator guy to fire it at a press conference. This could mean a release a lot sooner than we think.

I think it'll be released earlier than Fall.

Just look at the recon -- advertised release date was Spring 08 and we got it in November.

Based on that, I imagine that this gun will be on the shelves by April/May.

April/May? I don't think so. I got July/August at the earliest, even if they do push it up, which I doubt.

And yes. Yes we do.

I don't have a regular Nerfing crew, but it's easy enough to throw one together.

Well if there was a commercial out for it the commercial will also be on the Nerf site. Which its not. So she may have gotten her information from another source and is pulling your leg.

PS: So, I guess no one actually went to the show-off thingamajig?

Did you seriously just link us to a youtube video with ice repeating random shit he probably read in this thread, and showing an image that is embedded in no less than 6 posts in this thread already? Exactly what did Ice's effeminate voice add to this discussion that you felt this topic was to sorely lacking?

Yeah, that vid didn't do anything for me either. From the looks of placement, it would appear that the LS bolt brings back the slide that hold the belt in. So,
1. Bring bolt back
2. Load Chain
3. Push bolt closed
4. Fire Weapon

But that would mean there was some crazy shit going on with the chain. It may be for show, or to fire the gun without batteries. Which would be even cooler, yet impractical. Maybe the bolt engages the chain feed, or is a safety? I like my post count. I'm going to stop now.

Direct Threat, If you are out there. Paint this gun.

I'm drooling over color decisions. I started building a polycarbonate segmented shoulder strap for it. I wish it was LARGER so that I could rationalize making a completely unnecessary swing arm to attach to a belt or backpack. You know, something completely retarded =)

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

NERF N-STRIKE VULCAN EBF-25

The top-of-the-line blaster for mission supremacy, the NERF N-STRIKE VULCAN EBF-25 blaster is a 25-dart belt-fed fully automatic blaster that will intimidate any opponent. This impressive blaster comes complete with a fold-up tripod to steady your aim, 25 sonic micro darts that whistle through the air when launched and a 25-dart belt. The NERF N-STRIKE VULCAN EBF-25 blaster features the Tactical Rail System allowing players to customize their blaster for each mission - for example, players can use the green 'night vision' Tactical Light accessory (sold separately) for nighttime missions. Six "D" batteries are required but not included. (Ages 6 years & up/Approximate Retail Price: $39.99/Available: Fall 2008)

Looks as if it is a solid link of 25 barrels on a belt. I don't know if you can attach the belts together at all.

Also found another photo. Can you guys see the Longshot bolt handle on the side?

I really hope that longshot bolt is so you dont have to use batteries. And it would be like 25 shots in single shot.

If this thing shoots screamers, couldn't it shoot taggers and Suction cup darts. Or Possibly stefans just looking at the belt?
