BREAKING NEWS! (Well, not really)

I found a great source of pictures of the vulcan, as well as a variety of other guns, Including a GREEN unity power system!

Vulcan pics:

And the list of pics that they came from that features other stuff.

I hope I helped out with these great, close up pics!

Wow, great find! The green Unity System says "Incredible Hulk" on the side. Also, in one of the pictures of the recon, there is an empty package for a Vulcan belt! YAY!
In the bottom left-hand corner of this picture, you can see a part of the hyperfire box. It looks like a repackaged dart tag set with a different colour blaster, but we still don't know what the mini blasters are. Great close-up pictures of the vulcan!
EDIT: Jwasko beat me to the pictures. Oh well.

The Hyperfire set is a part of the Dart Tag line. The mini blasters likely are repackaged Crossfires.

EDIT: Oh, No! I have just made a startling discovery! The dart-tag hyperfire set is indeed a re-package.
Look at the bottom left of this picture.
http://gizmodo.com/p...2008/1000756249
Even if it is a different color, re-packages are boring.

OH WOW!!! You sir have found a great chunk of information on this new blaster as well as a couple of new additions(ADDITIONAL DART BELTS!!! can you say rambo style anyone?). Anyways, I think these picture links should be posted up on the 1st page as well as the discovery of the new belt clips.

Also, I don't know if it is just me but I think that the batteries are used for a motor that cocks back the spring in the gun(that's just my theory), but the problem with that theory is that why is there a lonshot bolt?

I think its to (maybe?) load the chain, or have a single-shot option.

My god, 2008 looks good.

I disagree.
The jury is still out on the Vulcan, but everything else is a repackage.
Nerf needs some airguns, in the Airtech vain.

Ok people keep on saying this http://gizmodo.com/p...2008/1000756249 is the hyper fire, isn't it the recon?

Sorry I forgot to read bottom left corner, my bad.

the hulkbuster Titan is cool, although a blatant, shameless cash in. The Iron Man gun makes no sense.

Correct the SW gun inquestion is not the E-11 (stormtrooper rifle) it is I beleive the Grievous blaster from Ep 3. Not sure it's a NERF though. Maybe a repaint of the toy gun. They are really pushing the new Clone Wars line with the Movie & series coming out.

Looks like the chain is held together by a fabric strap that loops through each link.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

I'll bet the we could just remove the screws on the end pieces, overlap the ends of the webbing straps, and reassemble the ends. You would end up with a blank spot in between the two chains, but that is a small price to pay.

I hope it doesn't shoot like the mech tommy 20. Very unreliable ranges. My cousin has one.
If it does, I will not buy it at all. Huge waste of 40$. Buy a chainblazer or rototrack.
On the plus side, this thing will have a great ROF, obviously, and the chains look like you can connect them, making a rain of darts down on your target. With screamers, pretty damn intimidatin.
Thanks

or you could get longer straps and have consistent belts.

How would the darts shoot if it were moterized? How would they leave the chain? This gun doesnt look moterized. THe moterized guns dont have ARs (or at least none that i know of), the Vulcan does.

Then perhaps that the fact that there are ARs on this is a good thing, because that would mean it shoots with enough force to merit being restricted. Though it's no guarantee that it has that kind of power.

Either way, the fact that it is motorized (perhaps with some sort of firing mechanism which will be the responsibility of the first one of us to get it to show and tell) it's going to be a real hassle to toy with its power without ruining its firing and/or having it misfire. It's probably a hooked wheel that catches a bolt after being primed and fires it that way or instead of a wheel, a little track so it can get a longer stroke. I just want to know how fast it CAN shoot.

Looks like from this pic, it fires similarly to the longshot. you can see its primer handle.

Also its kinda funny that the guy in the box mockup is an older balding guy.
