For combustion tanks, use hairspray or blackpowder. But by far not butane, it doesn't work like hairspray. I find AquaNet level 3 WITH fragrance to work the best over suave etc.
Nice one, dickless.
Hairspray pretty much IS Butane. It's the butane in the hairspray that does the burning.
I would suggest NOT Blackpowder because it burns way too hot for this kind of use. If you are going to use combustion, which I have nothing against, then use either Propane or Butane.
Propane is a very clean and efficent fuel. When 1 part of Propane is mixed with 5 parts of oxygen, it burns and shoots great. The reason why it is a clean fuel, is because it's by-products are Carbon Dioxide and Hydrogen Monoxide. CO2 and Water. Propane is the gas in your house like hot water, oven and stove. It's also in the barbecue gas bottles you buy at the servo or hardware store. Or most other places. (this is also what the Tippmann C3 uses)
Butane is a good option because it's easy to find as it's in just about every cosmetic and fragrant aerosol. Body sprays, hair sprays - well, just about everything anyway.
Once again, I would solely advise AGAINST the use of Blackpowder is this kind of use - it's just way too hot.
Propane or butane all the way. And also, you need to make sure you're getting enough oxygen into the chamber. Perhaps you could try this: Spray some of the fuel in to a bike pump tube, then place the piston rod back into the tube and press it down - this, theoretically, should push out the fuel and enough oxygen for combustion. In case you didn't catch it, I mean attaching the pump tube to the chamber, so you pump the fuel/air into the chamber, and I don't mean like a hybrid.
