CaptainSLug's method works great if you have a drill and a 1/2 inch drill bit. That way you can use the WHOLE bolt. I'll get a link.

Well, making a roundish magazine would be hard. The hardest part would be not to have your dart follower/darts to jam in the rounded section.

To fix that you might just have to make the clip like 1/2 or so bigger depending on the curve.

To answer your old-ish question. The barrel extension on the LS/Recon decreases range by alot. But If you still want to try it, See IF you can fit 1/2 inch PVC or 3/4 inch in the hole on the front. (the big one)

Also, If you want to make a cooler, less range decreasing barrel extension for the LS, 3/4 PVC fits perfectly inside of the LS's muzzle.

Hey, I'm working on my 1st homemade, but want try something awesome for the second. I'm looking to make a bolt action homemade based off a M40A3 sniperr rifle. I want it to be bolt action, with nice accuracy/range. I have an Idea in my head. It would be the same thing as the FAR mechanism, but clipless, and shell-less.

Would this work while still maintaining looks of a M40A3, but performing well at the same time?

EDIT- By shell I mean for the darts, not the shell of the blaster.

No, it won't go farther because the spring maxes out. That's a guess, so anything with less coils should see a drastic improvement. For example, and Autogrip, or Armorshot spring would work nicely. They are VERY strong for a stock spring (stronger than a 1st Gen NF spring).

I have a Mac computer, and I have FiOs. I run via a Wireless bridge from my modem, to my Xbox. I cannot connect to Xbox Live.

It always fails at IP Address when I troubleshoot it. Password problem fixed, still can't connect though.

My main concern is for XBox live to work. It's been down for like 6 months. Note I don't use a "Xbox 360" certified adapter. I use a Radio Shack wireless bridge. It has worked for years, since like 2004, but last year, it went kapoot.

Any help is appreciated, but please, PLEASE don't post if you haven't read my entire post and/or have no idea what you're talking about.

EDIT- It stopped working when we got FiOS and a new modem. Then it started working for a month, and stopped again.

I hate 3k's. I did the same thing, and had your problem.

Except, mine wasn't hard to pump. I think that's because the pump came unplugged. I can pump it like 45 times and nothing happens, it still shoots the same as when I pump it 4.

I've heard some people say they can't find brass at their Ace. Ask them for "K&S" metals. It is in the hardware section by the springs. It should be obvious when you see it, as the brass sticks out in the box.

I was just using an example. Like, most of my NF's are really accurate, some have nested brass, otheres CPVC, others PETG etc.

My least accurate one however, is my most powerful one. That is my precisionnerfer nf. I did it myself however.

It is strong, but not too accurate.

The most important thing in a pistol is accuracy however. If someone's rushing you, and you are reloading your XBow (just an example) and you whip out your awesome "100 foot NF!!11!" and then the dart flies above his head, you're screwed.

My friend has an SM1500 (his little brother) and I told him I'd trade him a stock longshot and a modded 2k, but he STILL said no! <_<

Anyways, Really nice mod, 30 shots has to be hard to compete with at 110 feet each shot. This shoulder tank Idea was also brought up in one of Zero's homemades

I don't think that the pluger is upside down because the smaller clip coming off of it is the catch. The catch is supposed to be on the bottom so that the pole that cocks it has the larger clip to push against. I'm not sure if that made any sense. As for your problem you may want to increase the strength of the catch spring. Either buy a new one or stretch the one that is already in it. The problem is if you stretch the spring already in the gun then it won't last as long as it should.

I know how a catch works. I haven't opened my Mav in months (not that it deserves to be) that I thought the bigger nub was the catch.
