Critical question on blaster power: will UMB's be allowed with stock OPRV's? I'm not sure how big they are compared to a Mega Mis.

Blaster Restrictions
• 4B’s and bigger are banned in any single-shot capacity unless it is large ammo. Allowed if multi-barreled. Run anything by me: I’ll be very objective.
Darts Regulations
• Slugs, #6 or #8 I’m not concerned: I’m selling them $10/100. Craft-foam tipped are also fine.
Melee Rules
• Raw pool-noodle, dollar-store foam weapons, or lengths of FBR or foam insulator all are 100% go. No duct-tape wrapped boffers plz.
Shield Rules
• With a full-blown primary: must be mounted on TOP OR UNDER (no sides or front) of your blaster, no bigger than a Manta OR…any (yes any) blaster shell split and mounted like a Manta. This way you cannot simultaneously attack and defend and requires either great craftsmanship or patients cuz thems be one hellova pain in da ass.
• Mantas, faux Mantas like Venom and BagHead, or Manta reduxes like Eik made (see mod’s/ PJ’s thread)
• Nerf-brand dart-tag bucklers, Stonewalls, Capt America promo merch, or other toy shields...with a single-shot pistol.
• Massive Spartan-sized shields are a go…with no blasters and large ammo takes the shield out for the WHOOOOOLE rest of the round.
Details
• Bring water. I’d advise not pop, not red bull, not sugar loaded crap: water is best but do what you like.
• Sunscreen: highly advised.
• 200 lbs of blasters and other materials: unnecessary. Bring what you need to play, what you need to trade, and maybe some things to show off.

• Nothing single-shot bigger than a UMB with stock pump and oprv. No bans on springers/bow’ers.
• 4B’s, Titans, Jobars, Roto Rockets: ASK ME!!! Tell me you barrel set up and your intended ammo, I will be very fair if it is safe. No bans on blasters for big ammo.
• Pistols: if you replaced the spring with anything other than another stock spring or the plunger tube with anything other than a different stock tube it is NOT a pistol. A SupaSplat and the like are NOT pistols.
Shield Rules:
• Mantas and manta replicas TOP mounted
• ANY Nerf or toy blaster shell split and TOP mounted Manta-style
• Medium-ish toy shields and a pistol
• Bigish toy shields and melee
• Big Ammo counts as a ‘hit’, not a shield breaker

BIG AMMO: If Spano did anything to progress the sport it was to legitimize the use of big ammo in Defend The Core, and I fell victim to several Mongo shots that I would have ordinarily blocked with my shield. I declare an official end to fucking around in this category: see below.

So yeah, funny thing happened today: FRIGGIN' 20+ PEOPLE SHOWED UP!
This was a top-shelf pour of oak-aged kickass. This war was like finding a five dollar bill and finding a twenty wrapped up in it.
PROS:
+We had MN, IL, and IA reppin STRONG today!
+Stark, Kane, McNumnums: you where my Christmas, and I came early.
+Warmods, Jamie, Janik, Gabe, Iowa kid AND dad: solid first war performance.
+People brought friends! JudeWolf: Gabe was cool. Eik: your pals were great. Tim: as always sweet peeps.
+Holy balls we had a lot of mobsticals. We had a metric butt-ton of mobsticals.
+Great participation: I can say for a stone cold fact that EVERYONE made a difference and enhanced gameplay.
+For a personal win the shield I made worked like a damn charm.
+Got started on my farmers tan early this year!
+burned hella calories tearing ass all over the field.

The glory of pink foam is that they fit everything. I use CPVC in springers and air blasters alike with success.

There are no NEW restrictions on air blasters from the last Ween War: JSBP's are fine if muli barreled or shooting large ammo.

What NOT to bring
-ANY air gun more powerful than a UMB (and those better have the stock oprv) that shoots one round at a time EVEN if they have hoppers or RSCB’s. Unless you have crazy shotgunning attachments a la VelveetaAvenger I don’t want to see 4B's, Titans, or anything else like it.
-Totes and toes of crap: What you NEED and what you PLAN TO TRADE. There will be no surprises to what games we play so plan accordingly.
-Glue dome ammo.
-You all know what else does not fly, PM me with questions and I will answer honestly and fairly all inquiries.
MELEE RULES!
There are two and ONLY TWO forms of melee allowed:
1) Un-modified bone-stock pool noodle with a max length of 2’.
2) Target dollar spot melee. THIS stuff.
SHIELD RULES!
Yeah, Ima go ahead and open this fat greasy can of worms and allow shields. As with melee there are some VERY specific rules that are to be observed:
1) Shields MUST be affixed, actually stuck on, to the TOP of your blaster like a Manta.
2) Shield constriction material is LIMITED TO ONE OF THE FOLLOWING
A. Toy or costume shield props (Stonewall shield, Captain America licensed merchandise, ect)
B. Toy blaster shells of any make or model (Nerf, Buzz Bee, Super Soaker, ect) positioned as a Manta would be ie split in half and side by side.
C. Mantas and Manta imitations like Venom's awesome build in the homeade thread.
3) Shield size is limited to ABOUT THAT that of a Manta: there is some give and take here, but I don't see this being an issue if the previous rules are met. Otherwise I will make a judgment call and modify the rules for next time.

-ANY air gun more powerful than a UMB (and those better have the stock oprv) that shoots one round at a time EVEN if they have hoppers or RSCB’s. Unless you have crazy shotgunning attachments a la VelveetaAvenger I don’t want to see 4B's, Titans, or anything else like it.
-Totes and toes of crap: What you NEED and what you PLAN TO TRADE. There will be no surprises to what games we play so plan accordingly.
-Glue dome ammo.
-You all know what else does not fly, PM me with questions and I will answer honestly and fairly all inquiries.
MELEE RULES!
There are two and ONLY TWO forms of melee allowed:
1) Un-modified bone-stock pool noodle with a max length of 2’.
2) Target dollar spot melee. THIS stuff.
SHIELD RULES!
Yeah, Ima go ahead and open this fat greasy can of worms and allow shields. As with melee there are some VERY specific rules that are to be observed:
1) Shields MUST be affixed, actually stuck on, to the TOP of your blaster like a Manta.
2) Shield constriction material is LIMITED TO ONE OF THE FOLLOWING
A. Toy or costume shield props (Stonewall shield, Captain America licensed merchandise, ect)
B. Toy blaster shells of any make or model (Nerf, Buzz Bee, Super Soaker, ect) positioned as a Manta would be ie split in half and side by side.
C. Mantas and Manta imitations like Venom's awesome build in the homeade thread.
3) Shield size is limited to ABOUT THAT that of a Manta: there is some give and take here, but I don't see this being an issue if the previous rules are met. Otherwise I will make a judgment call and modify the rules for next time.

I am pretty certain every single person there kicked ass. So here goes:
DudeRad - Nerfed well AND helped set shit up: two very sting points in a war attendee.
Veeta - best Adam Jensen/Zach Galifanakis costume ever.
Bowlmen - Proved you can go a whole war and never use a blaster and STILL make a difference.
Wilberfred - You played Mario Kart with the ziel of a 1000 angry hornets. And ate lots of Taco Bell.
Arfink - I saw you do that silly Amish trot! And you brought a sweet shotty.
Ben Fink - Best Territories Troll EVER!
Tron - Still Dr. Constant with the LS.
VenPants - ROCKED the minivan!
JudeWolf - you held 3 territory depots all on your own for like 7 min. DAMN!
Boss9 - Brought the heat for sure.
Kathleen - last time I underestimate a female non-forum member in a costume at her first war. I have plenty of dart marks to remind me of this.
LuckyLottoDanDirtyman - I think like 3 of you showed up because you were all over the damn place!
Pros
- 360 Core work like a BEAST! It would be hard to make it better.
- I thought small field and pistols only territories was great, and a fun change of pace.
- Some great Rescue The Pricess rounds in the playground.
- So many people helped find a home for about 40 lbs of Nerf material.
Cons
- None, not a damn one: A successful war occurred.

Loaded as in having a round in the chamber, or just having the weapon cocked?
Chambered AND primed: the idea is you could have shot someone at point blank range but didn't for (mostly) safety reasons. Barrel taps are not a way to save ammo or as a hold out I your blaster is unprimed: that is why we have melee options.
Melee rules reminder: 2' of pool noodle or any Target dollar spot melee device.

So, assuming your melee rules are airtight to those two options, gun taps are out of the question?
Thank you for calling in this because I do have a ruling: we will be using Chicago rules (no sure it is a 100% inobatiom of Chi but whatever). MEANING, you touch someone gently with you HAND (no barel stabbings) and then immediately discharge your already loaded and primed blaster.
SO, this means if you have no ammo you have no offensive capabilities unless you have melee on you. Blaster must be primed and loaded THEN a flesh on flesh touch is initiated THEN the offencer fires INTO the ground.
I would like to out-right ban but then we'd have plenty more point blank hits and that will just not due.
@CowMan - that sucks dude. This will be a solid war.

Alright jerkstores, we are IN the week before, and as host I want to make sure to prevent bullshit:
MELEE: I have not gotten a single post or PM so I will assume my rules are both clear and acceptable.
DARTS: have you made yours, or solidified a purchas or trade? If not: do it. Slugs and craft foam tips are both fine.
PACKING: By the end of tomorrow I will be 100% packed and ready and I have mobsticals/territories/DTC materials to deal with. IF YOU WAIT TILL FRIDAY to pack you will be late and piss off your ride, any one you are driving, your mom if she driving, and your own sweet self no matter how you cut it. START NOW!
FREE STUFF: seriously, I will be bringing so much shit for out and out give away there is no chance you will not come out ahead.
GAME TYPES: you know what we are doing, you know what equipment is best for your style of play. Rules will be covered at the war but PM me if you have a loophole you want to exploit and I will fairly evaluate.
