#219677 Very Cheap Fbr
Posted by 123caviler on 24 March 2009 - 06:15 PM in Homemades
Yep and this is from there site...Anyone seen THIS foam?
6 bucks for a hundred feet is good enough for me.
Which still makes it only 11 dollars so maybe a good deal still. All orders below $25 will incur a $5 processing fee.

#217266 Very Cheap Fbr
Posted by 123caviler on 10 March 2009 - 06:14 AM in Homemades
Can you please read it before you post, that says it's 7 dollars for 240 Inches, not feet. That would be the difference of 3 cents a foot and 35 cents a foot. If it seems to good to be true, check it.I was just looking at FBR on google shopping and I found this. It is $7 for 240' but I am not sure about shipping so I don't know if this or the other foam is cheaper. If someone else wants to buy this foam and write a review about it they are welcome to. I just want to get good foam for a good price.

My At2k, I didn't plug the pump or do a pen mod, so this is pretty much silent but still gets respectable ranges from 40-50ft. May get a paintjob or plug the pump but not in the near future.
Salindin_naz: Those are extremely nice paint-jobs and mods. You have a great skill.
Moz: Schweet cosmetic work, I wish I could do that. P.S. What did you use for the thing on-top of the barrel?
#199620 Japanese Nite Finder Rip-off?
Posted by 123caviler on 29 December 2008 - 07:25 PM in General Nerf
I was visiting the local 100 Yen store down the road and dropped in on some little department store that was selling a green nite finder ripoff.
What would it be worth back in the USA? It was about $20 here.
I'll take one too if it's not too much. Assuming things in the 100 yen store cost 100 yen, that's barely over a dollar.
It didn't cost only 100 yen. It's like the at3k twin pack at dollar general.

That is my current Screwdriver. I need a better one to get some extremely tight screws out. I know that it needs to be #1, but they say things like #1x 3.25" or #1x 2". Which one do I get?

#193604 The Magbreech!
Posted by 123caviler on 02 December 2008 - 09:38 PM in Homemades
On topic:Even if you did get this to work, which would be a pretty difficult task, the rubber-band would wear out and you would have to make another breech. Also, how would the clip come out and in of the breech, what would it latch onto?

#190699 Christmas List
Posted by 123caviler on 19 November 2008 - 07:17 AM in General Nerf
That's why I said if. I was also talking about other things too, like band-saws or whatnot. To get back on topic, I think that if you do not have the proper tools for modding a gun, such as a dremel, that would be first on the list. At least for me.
But for Christmas I would like......
A vulcan
LS, already getting it
BBB
2 NF's
more cpvc
and brass
I have a dremel.

#183575 Sspb Barrel Replacement Problems
Posted by 123caviler on 13 October 2008 - 09:15 PM in Modifications
No, the pump isn't plugged. What barrel material should I use? They dont have brass in our local lowe's. just copper. I might order some PETG though. And sorry for calling it bullets. My friends call them that, so I get mixed up.Because of the air output, CPVC might be too tight. CPVC normally isn't used for any air guns. Is the pump plugged on the SSPB?
Yeah there might be something block the air outpot from coming out of the barrel, Try re-gluing the barrel and maybe even looking for a different barrel material for your darts. Also not to flame but there Darts not bullets.
Poke
EDIT: I forgot to mention, the barrel is kind of like the NF stock barrel. Like its... slanted. I tried a micro dart thats really small, like its pretty loose in the barrel, and it wont fire. Is that why?
I would plug the pump, and try that. If that doesn't work, PETG is a good option, as is 9/16 brass if you can find it. There may be some glue blocking the air output, which would act as an air restrictor.
I wouldn't recommend plugging the pump because I broke mine by trying to reglue the 2 parts together.
I do agree with TantumBull because if it isn't the air output, it is the barrel material.
